Okay, what the FUCK just happened to all my desktop icons?
I was trying to drag a video to my VLC playlist, and all of a sudden, the desktop froze. When it unfroze, all of my desktop items except fpr the Recycle Bin and a random folder I created weeks ago. But everything else is gone.
I'm using Windows 10. I haven't updated it in a while. It was working just fine up until this shit. None of the solutions I've found online have worked. If the desktop items were accidentally set to hidden, then why is that one random folder still visible? If my desktop icon visibility was turned off, why is that one random folder visible?

seriously, how the fuck does this even happen? I didn't do ANYTHING that should have deleted everything from my desktop. Even searching the computer, I can't find any of the files that were on the desktop. What the hell? My other files that were in other areas of the comp are fine, but everything that was on the desktop seems to have been deleted somehow.
