No. Catholic schools get public funding here.

Yes. Strictly secular and one of the most secular in the world.

No, priest are paid by the state, church pays no tax and people have been prosecuted now and then for blasphemy

...

Man you guys really do like japan.
Why are you guys such fedoras. Not expected of latam

don't most schools get public funding?

what are turkmenistan and uzbekistan like?

No - technically a christian country. Government funds maintenance of churches and cathedrals and whatnot.

No, unfortunately. 25% are degenerate evangelicals

Good job
Pair up with mama Russia and bring the other Stans up to date please

Kinda, we do it by seperating our religion to areas. For example, heavy state support for Christians in msot of the country, heavy state support for Islam in Novi Pazar and such, but the main point is we have all religions and you are free to preach them. The people might have bad reactions about it depending on what religion and what area tho

Only if it's a normal public school and their various flavours, or Catholic. If you want to send your kids to a Protestant or Islamic school you have to pay for it yourself.

Two reasons:

1. There were few indians and they were stone age pagans who resisted conversion so very few missions and the like were created here. The church was always relatively weak.

2. in 1904 we had a fedoralord pseudo-socialist as a president who reformed our constitution and removed every reference of religion from the state.

Even holidays and cities names were "secularized". San Fernando (a town) became Maldonado, Christmas became The day of Family among a ton of others.

A few years ago a president saying "thank god" in a public speech could cause a shitstorm for example. Now things are a bit more tolerant.

>Why are you guys such fedoras.

They had their rough times
If you ever been through serious shit in your life you will end up understanding that either there is no god or that god is malicious

Should be, religion is forbidden at school
And at public uni the other day a group of kids got in trouble for promoting a Catholic tradition

It used to.
Ironically, people bending over to accomodate algerians and other muslims so they feel nice and safe without anyone insulting "muh hulee buk" are deep down asking for laws against blasphemy.

No, religious institutions get tax money.

Empty?
Like a lot of grass

No. We have a theocratic monarchy.
Not as bad as Saudi Arabia's, but it's still far from being secular.
You guys have laws that literally target Muslims (i.e, burkini and hijab bans)

Bullshit. Serbia has only one religion and that is Kebab Removing.

Theoretically yes, but practically not. (e.g. religion lessons in west Germany, even Islam lessons)

But my state is as secular as it can get.

Yes, and they are under criticism these days. Same stuff as the recent ridiculous burkini "controversy".
More and more are arguing against ban on integral veils in the name of "individual freedom".
And worst part is, people arguing this are not muslims.

>You guys have laws that literally target Muslims (i.e, burkini and hijab bans)
actually this specific law was lifted two days ago in France

Precision needed here :
The local edict banning the Burkini in a couple cities has been lifted because of the stupid pressure put on the municipality after the whole thing was blown out of proportion by the media.
The overall ban on hijab and burka is still active as far as I know.

Not really (pic related), but I mean...

We have one of the lowest church attendance rates in Europe, with statistics suggesting merely 1% of the population attends church regularly nowadays. The average Norwegian attends church once a year, and less than 11% showed up last Christmas Eve. Pretty shit for a Christian country.

Also these:

thelocal.no/20160318/majority-of-norwegians-dont-believe-in-god

>A new survey from the annual social-cultural study Norwegian Monitor (Norsk Monitor) shows an historic level of Norwegians who don’t believe in the existence of God, Vårt Land reported.

>To the question “Do you believe in God?”, 39 percent responded “no” while 37 percent said “yes”. Another 23 percent of respondents said they did not know.

thelocal.no/20160901/most-norway-church-members-not-christian

>Less than half of the 3.8m baptised members of the Church of Norway consider themselves Christians, according to a new poll for Aftenposten newspaper.

>Only 48 percent of the church members polled by Respons Analyse said they considered themselves to be Christian.

thelocal.no/20160901/church-of-norway-loses-25000-members-in-one-month

>The church said that 24,653 of those who left used a new web page that was launched on August 12th as a way to allow people to verify their status within the church but also easily withdraw.

burkini ban was lifted
If I recollect the Hijab ban has to do with banning religion symbols in Universities, so it is not about Islam, it is just Muslims being assblasted for not getting special treatment

Your country has its head up its ass.
>MUH secularism = telling girls what they are and aren't allowed to wear
This goes for all people, regardless of religion. Plenty of countries like the U.S have secular laws that allow for personal freedom to practice but not to involve religion into government.
You're only gonna create more of a divide between France and Muslims, which won't be any good in the long run.
That's great. It's a fairly retarded law.
>it is just Muslims being assblasted for not getting special treatment
Muslims aren't getting "buttblasted because they're not getting special treatment", they're literally the only ones who care enough to speak up. You think the average French """"Christian"""" is gonna give a fuck about some law banning the cross?
The law obviously targets Muslims under the shroud of "it's in the name of secularism!"

Religion has no place in Universities, especially in French Universities if you know two things about history.
Learn to assimilate and be decent fucking guest you gigantic self-entitled assholes
Or fuck off

>America
yeah thats the problem

of course

What the fuck is wrong with kyrgyzstan? Isn't it just like kazakhstan but a bit smaller?

>blue Nip flag
you aren't even hiding it

Our constitution says 'Spain is a non-confessional country' so no, we aren't secular. We can give part of our taxes to the Catholic Church and the gov helps with the funding of their buildings (historical or not) here.

>making your entire country secular to avoid offending the bad religions instead of just kicking them out

They have Persians

>Turkmenistan
>grass

Literally the whole country is a yuge fucking desert.

Shitholes.

Blue NIPON? What does it mean?

Now I have this image of all these different universe versions of Japan with different signifying colors and the reason our Japan is so so war hungry and violent is its Red Japan

But tajiks are basically feral persians and Tajikistan has a lowest number than Kyrgyzstan.

lower number* not lowest sorry

You're wrong.

That sounds ominous

>azerbaijan

That's just not correct.

Most of tajiks live in Russia

Wait, the Finnish flag is supposed to be a cross? I had no idea.

Laestidian mafia controls Finland

You're a slow one, aren't you?
