I'm not sure what country you're from, but if your GDP isn't anywhere near $13 trillion dollars with a population no greater than 300 million, it's very easy to judge a country based on its lower class people.
The reason for that GDP is BECAUSE of technological innovations and inventions. The US is the number 1 country to actually do R&D within its companies.
I'm not posting this to be a inbred redneck, but the rest of the world is quick to judge, when they themselves wait until the US develops it, then they go ahead and implement it. Perfect example of this would be Apple and Samsung. Samsung is not doing much of the research, Apple is. Any lurkers here that work as engineers with in these two companies know damn well, Samsung is pretty much the guinea pig of Apple research.
Instead of taking in a ton of shitskins, perhaps your own country can start dumping R&D, and developing your own shit.

As far as infrastructure, I agree, but you have to understand the US is very spread out. If it was the size of Japan or condensed like Europe, the infrastructure to connect everyone would be just as easy and inexpensive. But spending over Millions of dollars to get internet access to a place where the population is less than 500 people, and collect $80/ month on that isn't profitable. People moving into those locations make their own decisions.

Apple happens to be an American company which appeals a lot to the chauvinistic Burgers. Also lots of third world countries see the U.S. are a role model (because of the past, don't get exited) so Apple really took off there. If Apple weren't based in the U.S. there's no way they gained this much traction.

That's true, but it's also a really shitty situation. As someone who would have not been able to afford to go to a university without the government picking up the tab more often than not, it's upsetting to see such a large monetary and time investment being reduced to basically what amounts to "high school 2.0". I got lucky because I got into a school that is cheap for university standards and FAFSA worked out for me. However, FAFSA only covers the first five years, after that I don't know what I would have done if I wanted to keep going for a master's. I'm not saying that I want colleges to be completely free, but they need to make the investment worth it instead of just making it be a four year long party
