If a southern European was forced at gunpoint to eat either a syruppy pancake breakfast or a bacon and eggs breakfast, which one would they choose?

on breakfast?
the right dish is absolutely thrash along with that industrial "juice"
i think id choose the pancakes
but this is the paetrician choice

the left one seems tastier

also I can't eat that much of food just being woken up, I would puke

Your country will never become an economic powerhouse if your people don't master the art of hearty breakfasts

>industrial "juice"

How can you tell from the picture?

Pancake.

Morning is for sweet things, afternoon is for salty/greasier things.

I don't think I've ever had a pancake, though. Maybe once or twice.

well it's watery as fuck and it has no pulp

>Morning is for sweet things, afternoon is for salty/greasier things.

America doesn't play by your commie segregation rules

It's an Anglo/Germanic/Nordic diet thing.

South of the alps you don't need such a big breakfast and just need a morning boost to hold you until lunch where you eat more because you have to stop for longer to avoid the heat. South Spain even famously take a nap.

So breakfasts are traditionally quick and calorie-dense, and lunches are bigger to hold you over to a dinner (which is also a bit later, at 7-o'clock at its earliest). It's a daylight-saving strategy.

Mediterranean food is on a whole superior health-wise, though. Leaner and more varied (thanks to the climate) Northern food is usually very fatty and greasy as a norm, because of the cold.

Pic related is a typical Portuguese breakfast.

>Pic related is a typical Portuguese breakfast.
You wish

It is, though. We only eat one of those pastries, since it's sort of a stock photo. It's what people eat at the coffee outside the office most often.

It's a typical breakfast, doesn't mean that the majority of people eat it, but the largest slice does (even if it's a minority).

>Pic related is a typical Portuguese breakfast.
it looks like shit tBh

Why? It's like the spanish concept of breakfast but we eat churros or a toast.

You can't fool me, I know Spaniards sneak some ham onto their bread and those German sausages in Northern Italy

To say nothing of based Balkans with their meat pies and yogurt

no it's not stfu with this meme, everyone eats cereals or bread with something or yogurt.

136>southlets have superior diets
If you are a woman at 50 kg perhaps

This.

Do you realize we have a heavy lunch while you eat a sandwich?

I meant that the greasy meal and sausages were the breakfast thing.

>Spaniards
Mate.

At home, sure, but that's not the typical. British typical breakfast is the bacon and sausages, and they sure as fuck don't eat that every day. There's not enough time if you're single.

The breakfast is the small meal. Lunches are as big as dinners here.

Bacon and eggs is goat tier breakfast, but other one is definitely cool too

Pic is my typical italian breakfast, so you understand any choice would be a massive improvement for me

>a sandwich
>a
Lel, southlets in denial baka

no we dont take ham for breakfast m8. maybe they do in mexico, since you americans tend to confuse the two countries.

i personally usually take a glass of milk with some cookies or something as quickly as i can then go to work

Pancakes with maple syrup is good stuff, why the fuck do you have butter on top of that you fat piece of shit?

So what do you have? Asuming you are employed and not a neet.

Ham and melon desu
Prosciutto if they have it

syrup pancake obviously. Bacon in the morning? want to live past 45

I mean for lunch, not for breakfast. We have small breakfasts because we have a big lunch.

>forced at gunpoint to eat
really?

What the fuck do you think prosciutto is you idiot

Several sandwiches, and our bread isn't literal cake like yours.

>american food

I expected a frog to commit suicide before having to meditate about this decission for more than a second.

>melon con jamón
Pero qué chingados es eso, manolo?

newsfeed.time.com/2013/05/09/105-year-old-woman-says-bacon-keeps-her-alive/

For lunch?
What are the chicken ones (pollo?)

>forced at gunpoint
we aren't food nazis nigga
our food>everyone else's though

>several sandwiches

Wow! Also, Spain is not a thin line in the Mediterranean. Up in the north we have proper bread.

>spanish bread
>cake
What

My favourite type of ham to put with melon like honeydew

well melon with ham on it william. its tasty desu

Chicken breast.

A norwegian visits his grandma in Alfaz del Pi and it's an expert on spanish bread.

We have that bread all over.

Sometimes I think that we hate the Saniards because we only come into contact with Estramadura and Andaluzia. Galicia is alright.

>Vermont Maple Syrup

nothing beats a mcdonald's egg mcmuffin with a hash brown

Prosciutto is the italian word for Spanish jamón, Portuguese presunto, etc.

good luck beating diabeetus if you eat that shit everyday

I didn't know that, here prosciutto is just a type of ham (jambon), it's salty and sliced thin so very good with sweet melon

>tfw matanza season is getting closer
>tfw marathonian familiar lunches with five dishes
>tfw blood pancakes are coming

You should try it.

I would get that, I usually eat chicken, turkey, or fish for lunch anyway.
But not with a lot if sauce, just moderately seasoned.

I thought Mexicans were supposed to be good at food?

In Spain the chicken breast is not seasoned. Just plain with fried potatoes. Also, if you look the menu you have to choose two plates.

Shit. We don't have that. Looks great-

>blood pancakes

No cigarette?

den einai ellhnas

see (Said with a very thick French accent)
We don't force people to eat. We're not savages.

The whole idea is so strange and using a gun to do it is so out of place, ... and so American...

Yeah, I saw that, I just don't eat that much at once. We don't really have a culture of big extravagant meals with lots of courses.
I live in a poor part of Canada, a meal is usually just 1 or 2 vegtables and a meat, sometimes a bread.
Fruit in the mornings for breakfast

>he doesn't eat fried blood

Looks like Swiss liver and onions

>Swiss liver and onions

Also known as higado encebollado. That exists here as well and probably all around Europe.

We do though. Just not in the form of a pancake. Well..the reindeer niggers and lappland communists do but not actual swedes.

Yes, I know, it was a joke because the sangre is the colour of beef liver and has holes like swiss cheese.

Looks like our morcilla.

welp i missed the joke

Do you make reindeer blood sausage too?

The above mentioned, samis in particular, do. The rest of us use pig blood.

We do this too, called boudin noir

The bullet

Is it common there as well?
