What kind of speaker setup does Sup Forums have with their TV? Any recommended setups for apartment living (i.e. better than built in TV speakers but not spending a stupid amount of money on base).

Are ADAM audio A3X worth it?

It's a ~400 speaker, it's fine. "Worth it" implies you need it to do something specific, either perform or fit a budget. It might do either for you but I wouldn't use it as a reference monitor.

edifier bookshelf on a bench.

properly equalised powered bookshelfs with a big sub... found happyness with 2.1

intergrated computer, hi-fi and tv 10 years ago ... havent looked back.

>Klipsch

I have a set of what you have in OP pic, the klipsch reference II. they have treated me very well over the years.

your bookshelf speakers are thift store garbage
>putting garbage on a pedestal

What does Sup Forums use for rear channels in their HT setup? Thinking about some powered monitors since that's easier than buying a seperate power amp and speakers.

Rp-250s
R115 sub

And a denon 2312 Receiver

Remember kids, the only good receivers out there are from denon

I have the speakers from Kef model C75. They're really good if you connect them with the right receiver.

I don't watch TV.

But 2.0 with same frequency range is better than 2.1

Also 5.0 with fullrange speakers would be just better, than some 5.1

18 inch speakers are good.

Do that connections when you connect two pieces of wood with 45 angle....

500 watt of bass load capacity is enought for cinnema.

Surround doesn't have bass everywhere, because it's multichannel audio...

So conclusion is 2.0 full range speakers with 30cm membranes that can go as deep as subwoofers. 160watt for bass speaker is enought to get your room really laud and maitain balanced highs.

If your room is not really big, it's good.

Maybe not your room but mine.

Tell me why not to buy the reference 2 series. I've been wanting to buy it for almost five years now but haven't because I live in military barracks. I'm getting an actual home in four months.

Two Yamaha HS80M with the Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 interface.
I use them mainly for listening to music or watching a movie/show from time to time.

Pic is not from me. I have an eye on the sub (Yamaha HS10W) but its quite expensive.

Here's a recommendation for a apartment. Iems

Because volume of air moved is related to the diameter of speaker.
