>I-I made some improvements to Linux kernel code senpai.

...

>Doesn't know what he's reading because he only knows how to write kernels in C.

...

...

...

I added some Rust to the kernel since it is the programming language

fucking Rusty fags get the fuck out my giiittt reeeeee!

Didn't he have a melt down one time

10 POKE RND(0)*28+54272, RND(0)*256
20 GOTO 10

...

MFW

Does he get paid to maintain Linux? Or does he do it for free?

He gets paid by the linux foundation. Also he probably has enough speaking engagements and stuff like that to pad his salary.

...

Oh yeah forgot about that. But isn't Linux foundation non profit?

They can still pay their employees.

...

How do they make money

Depends on the non-profit. In the case of the linux foundation, I think they are sponsored by RedHat, IBM, Intel, etc.

many companies use linux, so i guess at least some donate? (not the same user)

I have never written a program with real world applications to date why are you doing this to me Linuxman.

>I have never written a program with real world applications to date
not OPs fault

linuxfoundation.org/membership/

There are people who also pay for a @linux.com email address

So I was wrong about RH... wonder why they don't support it.

...

Please don't me harsh senpai

"Have you _looked_ at the patches you are talking about? You should
have - several of them bear your name.

The patches do things like add the garbage MSR writes to the kernel
entry/exit points. That's insane. That says "we're trying to protect
the kernel". We already have retpoline there, with less overhead.

So somebody isn't telling the truth here. Somebody is pushing complete
garbage for unclear reasons. Sorry for having to point that out.

If this was about flushing the BTB at actual context switches between
different users, I'd believe you. But that's not at all what the
patches do.

As it is, the patches are COMPLETE AND UTTER GARBAGE.

They do literally insane things. They do things that do not make
sense. That makes all your arguments questionable and suspicious. The
patches do things that are not sane.

WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON?

And that's actually ignoring the much _worse_ issue, namely that the
whole hardware interface is literally mis-designed by morons."

I'm so sorry I exist

>one time
>one

...

please be gentle linus

I love it when you give it to me hard and fast Linus. Harder!

...

yeah, what an idiot he should have learned React.js

>Senpai is going to review my code

>when i forgot to sign off my commit

>their fw i forgot to sign off my commit again

>mfw my commit gets merged

>I-I added static to some kernel variables, gimme an award senpai.

...

I would love to see them talk

He'll just call Linus a faggot for not writing his own compiler
And Linus would fucking foam and start screaming like the manlet he is

>what the fuck is this regex?
>the hell is this spacing, did using python give you stage 4 autism?
I dont really want to think about how anyone would react to my neatly formatted autismscript
Captcha: Calle Outlaw

How much is it for the @linux.com email address?

I use c++ for a living so that'll never happen

>mfw i have no face

You can make Qt diving programs with him.

Sure I will admit hes far more talented than I will ever be but hes really nothing all that special. A lot of shit seems like hes talking out of his ass. Theres not really any need for him to act like such a little cunt all the time especially at his age.

sounds awesome desu
someone should spam lkml with terry

>It's free range grass fed, Mr. Linus

he's actually something special. He does act angry, but he doesn't talk out of his ass

...

they are silver members, not platinum

>one time
*everytime

>all big corps
Oh the irony

>free range grass fed
Actually tastes better.
Ever had free range Angus beef?

>Outlaw
what street signs have the word outlaw on it ?

ReCAPTCHA v1 (books)

He doesn't know Java or C# so I'd like to see him try.
