Someone give me something to seed on BakaBT or I'll end up like this guy very soon

Trackers need to stop being dicks with ratings and shit like that or they will meet what.cd fate. Fuck what.cd and other private trackers in the ass.

do people intentionally make themselves unconnectable or limit their up speed when they are the only seeder on AB for more yen gains?

How to reach PU quickly on RED without a seedbox
1) Get a friend to join RED & MAM 2) You both upload audiobooks to RED 3) You both download each other's uploads 4) Profit
Gavin Martin
No, you'll gain more from upload than you will from daily yen payout. The daily yen payout is literally just welfare.
Zachary Phillips
Not a bad idea. Anyway my friends are retards. Is there an option?
Evan Phillips
I Think MAM still has user invites frozen atm.
Jason Clark
You can join through the interview (which is 10 times easier than RED's)
Aiden Martinez
Interviews are for cucks
Lincoln Gray
I think it's time to enter a collective bargaining agreement between RED staff and the people. We are starved of buffer at the hands of an alcoholic tyrant (Zed), and his reign of terror must cease!

If I want to slowly upgrade my 720p movies and shows to 1080p, where should I go? What do I look for in the technical specs?
Jeremiah Cruz

If you are archiving, don't bother with shitty encodes. Grab either the full image or, if space is a concern, grab the remux. PrivateHD actually has a lot of remuxes, and PTP is decent for it too.

Evan Murphy
hey, so suppose i just downloaded an album and then i edit the metadata on one of the mp3 files such as adding a comment. now, will that then change the hash and result in me not being able to seed the torrent or the specific file? and if i can actually still seed that particular file, will others who download it from me be able to see the comment i wrote in the metadata?
Landon Reyes
You wouldn't be able to seed that file
Ayden Long
You can't seed after editing tags. Duplicate the files or use m-tags.org/ (f2k only) By the way, anyone have a solution to this for Linux? I miss m-tags the most from my W10 install, and I'm not about to use f2k through Wine.
Connor Morgan
why is animebytes so racist? you don't like egyptians?
Christian Myers
>I'm not about to use f2k through Wine why not, it works
It's not like the bluray image is lossless, you might as well grab a transparent encode
Easton Scott
Every top tier tracker bans Egyptians.
Daniel Watson
If I was Egyptian or residing there and serious about trackers I'd just set up a VPN on my seedbox and use that to manage my accounts. If you can't do that you probably don't belong on trackers.
Jack Young
Just duplicate your library (music files are small and storage is cheap), or go for the superior solution that is using Foobar2000 with m-TAGS
>solution to [...] Linux? Windows
Tyler Diaz
Is this sarcasm?
Justin Collins
No, it's not sarcasm. Golden Popcorn encodes are the best of the best, painstakingly vetted by the most competent and well-rounded staff team that trackers have to offer from start to finish. Allow me to also draw your attention to the smiley in the post to which you replied. Note that it has zero (0) carat noses, the mark of a truly legitimate unsarcastic post.
Andrew Bell
Is this SArcasm?
Jaxson Baker
these trackers ban you if you use vpn to browse them. you can get approval for vpn usage but still you have to expose your home ip to them first. since you don't know any of that, apparently you are the one who don't belong on trackers lol
Hunter Bell
I would never use something like animebytes so I wouldn't know. Using a paid VPN service to browse is a bit different from using your seedbox to do it. I have done that many times on trackers and I've never had issues. Didn't realize I was supposed to ask in those cases but here's an example from the BTN rules:
>For a VPN/proxy to be considered private, it must offer a dedicated IP and you must be the only person with access to that IP.
It fits what I'm saying, use your seedbox. Obviously not a shared seedbox service but one you set up on a server you are renting yourself. I've probably slipped through the cracks when I did it in the past because who is checking for that? Especially given all the logins from autodl type shit for grabbing torrents from seedboxes. You would have to probably set off some red flags in some other way before someone bothered to look that deeply into it.
Grayson Ross
you still have to expose your real ip to them first no matter what. they don't have to check these manually. they have automated system which alerts them when someone uses a non-residential ip all the time. so you can't get away with not exposing them your real ip at least once. they will notice it and they will ask it about it to you or will just ban you. that's actually one of the most common reasons for bans.

What are some trackers which require you to notify staff about a seedbox?
So far I only recognize MAM as one.

How? Why go through the effort of getting into HDB to get kicked out?

This is what relying on user invites instead of proper recruitment does to a tracker.

IPT: >"Zapping a torrent now cost 120BP per 1GB. If you download a 3GB file it's 360BP to zap. Maxes out at 1000BP for a torrent."
>What is the reason for this? It is simple. Too many people jump on FL packs to get the quick upload then stop seeding it and use 50 BP to zap it. So now those abusers will be penalized a little more.
>So it's really simple, don't download something you really don't want or intend to seed. We have more FL than any other site, we are beyond generous with it. So no more abusing it.
>paying Why shell out a couple hundred bucks for 2 months on HDB? Why not buy BTN or MTV or IPT if you're looking to pump and dump
>47 bp/h I didn't notice that before. They are actually trying damn hard to fix their ratio. Must suck to be a sheep. They're seeding everything they downloaded and twice more.
They joined right before the 3 day freeleech. Idk how they fucked up so hard
Sebastian Sanchez
>Why shell out a couple hundred bucks for 2 months on HDB? Why not buy BTN or MTV or IPT if you're looking to pump and dump Well that's exactly it, most of the time it's literal IPT-tier retards who are used to buying literally every part of the site
Christian Peterson
>Too many people jump on FL packs to get the quick upload I had forgotten the first month of IPT was about seeding to be set for life. People jump on season packs because they're better seeded than episodes, regardless of quality. IPT raised it to 120 because they're being jewish. That's a 140% increase
John Barnes
Can someone explain the benefit of blur ray releases over 1080p web-dls for example. I was looking at getting a show from the 90s in 1080p on BTN but the seasons are like 90gb in bluray
Aaron Lopez
another day another 1,2gb upload on red
Evan Wood
Bitrate mostly, AMZN Web-DLs aren't bad but NF releases are pretty horrid
Adam Adams
Ok, does this matter if I am just streaming it to Plex? What are NF Releases? There is no fucking way I am going to download 90GB to watch Westworld
Gavin Walker
who cares. ipt is so fuckin easy
Grayson Thomas
NF is Netflix If you're transcoding with Plex just get the Web-DL
Angel Gray

Andrew Edwards
>using the smiley with the carat nose

:^O
Jacob Lopez
Well it depends. If you care about quality download the 90gb one. If you are fine with worse quality save space and download the smaller one. Have you never watched good blu ray encodes or remuxes?
As long as you have adequate hardware plex can direct play so no quality loss there. I use plex to stream UHD remuxes and it works fine.
Levi Martinez
who are you quoting
Zachary Ortiz
another day another 0mb uploaded on red
Christopher Baker
This. Assuming you’re watching on your home network and you have a decent pc, Plex should be able to handle any quality you find. The caveat to that is when you get to 4K UHD releases. If you don’t have a 4K tv, transcoding from 4K to 1080p will be almost impossible
Ryan Reyes
Why is this allowed?
Daniel Fisher
Should I run torrents off a Raspberry Pi with rtorrent, or my Windows pc with qbitttorrent? Power consumption isn’t really a concern, because I run my pc 24/7 for my Plex server anyways
Joshua Williams

Jackson Howard
now we only need spaghetti and his band of merry neets to fuck off. the attention whoring fucking cunt
Blake Ramirez
Both situations kind of suck. On one hand, Rtorrent is great and very stable but the raspberry pi, not so much. In my experience, you'll come home to find that it crashed at some point and need to restart it. Not good if you want to seed 24/7.
On the other hand, your PC can handle it hardware-wise but qbittorrent is NOT stable enough. Given enough torrents and time, you WILL start running into issues (crashes, hangs, force quits, etc.) Making it equally undesirable for long term seeding.
Pick your poison or just make a little linux box to run rtorrent
Lucas Hall
Another day another 17.1 MB uploaded to AnimeBytes.
Cameron Price
Maybe both options suck then. The best option might be to dig an ancient laptop out of somewhere, install Linux on it, and attach that to my network instead
