/lng/ Linux Native Games thread

Here are some of my faves:
XCOM:EU and EW expansion. (Haven't tried XCOM 2 yet)
Heroes of Newerth (Like DOTA but better, and has built-in voice chat)
Dwarf Fortress (probably the best game ever made)

Also I really enjoyed 'The Witcher', which runs perfect on Wine.

Is Rocket league any good? Not a gamer, looking for something casual

I think I played it once for about a minute. It seems fine if you like soccer but you hate actual running.

Its fantastic with friends.

Online it can be hit or miss. Its definitely fun and casual, but there are more fun and less fun players.

...

This thread really belongs in /vg/, but Ill bite since any non-shill thread is an improvement here.

Recently I've played Hyper Light Drifter and Hollow Knight, both awesome.

Also EU4, CK2, HOI4, if you like grand strategy Linux is a good place to be.

serious sam

Factorio run natively on Linux!

Dying Light
Parkour with zombies with RPG elements
If you like post apocalyptic games. It's fun and has really nice graphics.

>being a graphics whore

>D44M was built on open source technologies, specifically Vulkan
>No Linux version
A bit of a slap in the face.

Graphics just a good addition to this game. Game itself is fun.

super smash brothers melee runs great, you can even play it online

Civilization 5 and 6
Europa Universalis
Killing floor

My combo.
Warhammer TW, Deathmatch Classic, TF2, Closure, Black Mesa, Terraria, ME SoM, Tie Fighter, Master of Magic.

shadow warrior

Was so good that I installed Windows just to play the second one.

Will my T420 be able to handle CK2?

Probably wasnt worth the dev time to trouble shoot and guarantee compatibility

Almost every game is good with friends. That's dumb to say.

Why hasn't been Factorio named yet? Perfect game for the average and advanced Sup Forums autist.

Retard

Could you please spoon feed me material to set this up? Googling SMB Linux tutorial just brings up a bunch of link combo tutorials

I was suprised when I learned that even fucking Postal 2 was ported to Linux.

incredibly bad port

Doto have inbuilt voice chat

Xonotic
Morrowind (openmw), got multiplayer recently
Doom 3 (dhewm3)

I've actually gotten a cracked version of sc2 running on wine recently. I think that the only hurdle for multiplayer is that I can't get battle.net running. Any tips?

Xonotic, Urban Terror

Kerbal Space Program
Crusader Kangs 2
Planetary Annihilation: Titans
Civilisation

It is pretty good. It is one of these "only one more match" games.
