what gives user?

Firefox 60 is even faster than that

Get with the times, grandpa

man i've been meaning to switch back to ff but i'm lazy

is it worth the hassle?

I-It's fast..!

don't abandon your escape browser yet, but it's definitely worth a trial run. firefox is coming along quite nicely.

Depends on what you want from a browser. But for most people, it isn't worth the hassle of clicking that one buttom "import whatever".

Opera is better.

enjoy crashes every 36 minutes :-)

Does it still open multiple webpages one at a time instead of all at once?

Is the mobile version as fast as it?

>unironically using gnome 3

its a fucking browser, just use any. Jesus Christ

Do you know where you are right now?

do you? this board is for discussing technology, not anime

>complaining about anime
>on an anime imageboard
You're even newer than I thought from the previous post

>Nightly
>Gnome Shell
unironically the worst software combination in history

>reddit: the front page...

Thanks OP I just updated it here, now pages load so fast that I don't even need to think about going to them before they load

>Vanilla

Fucking disgusting

how do you put tabs in the title bar?

Can't close webms on Sup Forums since updating to 58, they just pause instead.
Is this something on my side?

New feature in FF59+, using GTK3 client side decoration

widget.allow-client-side-decoration true
browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar true

>all those extensions
Disgusting

I have been using nightly for months now and only problem is that it updates everyday.

Mobile Firefox is fucking trash.

It's the only one that has addon.

nice meme xDDD

>STILL no tab mix plus for newer versions

How many shekels does the Soros foundation deposit into your account each time you make one of these threads? I wouldn't mind making some easy money on the side.

Is there a way to hide title bar for the new firefox already? I'm holding my switch until then.

Is webrender finally usable?

Does anybody else use Seamonkey masterrace?

f11, like always

not yet, and it's still the fastest browser out there lmao

But without?

userchrome.css

Beta and Developers edition can draw tabs in titlebar.

holy fuck seriously? any way to get that on standard FF? I don't feel like being a literal beta tester

Let's find out. I'll test oprah and nightly with webrender activated.

lands stable at next version.

Can you still use Firefox Profiles (profile manager, etc) with memefox Quantum?

I want to try the new firefox, but even 57 is still in testing on gentoo. The latest version I can use is 52! Oh well, maybe someday!

took them a really long time

what do you think of

Nice, just wait for that and then I can upgrade. Thanks.

Man, what even ARE some of these extensions?

Still no TabGroups/panorama/other equivalent?

addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/

Maybe?

Who /esr/ here?

how long until the URL + extension buttons can be on the title bar as well? It's 2018, there's no reason for there to be two full sized horizontal workspace bars when I can have one

newfag, go back reeeeeee

You're shittalking chinese cartoons in a chinese cartoon board. Get the fuck out.
The absolute state of newfags

that's not FF, that's the window manager you use 0/10 making me reply

>_>
support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1164411#answer-978198

I'm not autistic enough to use a tiling window manager, my friend.

...

In FF59 the "client side decorations" will be default for Linux, so Firefox titlebar will be non-existent like Chromium

>tfw ESR will be version 59 or 60 soon, so the people holding out on webextensions will have to abandon ship for a lesser fork or join the Chrome botnet

Or they could just use modern Firefox and experience how good it is

>use opera for years
>try firefox for a few months
>end up making it look and act just like opera

This but don't forget to enable the window mode in the options or else it will temporarily close your tabs when opening a group. It will warn you first though.

Someone forgot their meds today.

>using boutique trash browser funded by google
>because the new skin has the popular instagram bar at the top

lurk more cunt

So, do any of you have your firefoxed decently riced?

Hey, is that just dash to panel?

Why is there still no option to put everything in one bar, why do tabs have to be solo. Whenever I tried to edit it it just shat itself or I ended up with a empty bar on top.

Does anyone else's Firefox still feel kind of crappy for Sup Forums?

>fails to load CSS for a fraction of a second
>then attempts to load non-catalog mode for a fraction of a second
>only after those two attempts it actually loads catalog mode

It's the only thing that keeps me from making it my main browser. Everything else is excellent. They even fixed the garbage performance on youtube a while back.

Tampermonkey+4chanX, no issues here.

I have the same setup.

It doesn't actually take longer to load Sup Forums compared to chrome, but it still looks like ass to see the page without CSS or in page mode for

I'm using Firefox 64, but I can't share it, it's top secret. My dad works at Firefox.

I'm still on 56 :^)

When will proper addon support be added?

That actually happens to me on my tablet, but it's most probably due to the shitty specs.

>not using iridium

having the same issue here

wtf mozilla

is there a fucking way to enable client side decorations on Antergos/Xfce??
i waited so long for 58 for this.
hide titlebar extension isn't available for quantum and i really care about those 10-15 pixels.

Just hide the title bar with maximized windows senpai
It's under accessibility in the options

Why would I want to give up my privacy in order to run this botnet browser?

Haven't used FF in years because it was fucking up time I installed/reinstalled it and wouldn't fix itself even after updating. It somehow fixed itself after I updated recently though. How's the memory management for multiple tabs nowadays? I have to use Great Suspender for Botnet because I have 20 tabs open eating up RAM.

where's that mate? i enabled them on PC and i see nothing. i see nothing inside FF as well.

Sorry I confused it

Windows Manager Tweaks -> Accessibility tab -> Hide title...

It's because Sup Forums uses javascript to load the catalog CSS

i don't have minimise, maximise and close then lmao
thanks for your time tho

I've been using ublock for a few years but it's starting to let are through and anoying redirects. What's the best combination of extension to really stop ads?

will it have gtk2 atleast wtf

>pocket not disabled
>reddit bookmarked
>smart https instead of https everywhere
>lastpass
>no umatrix
>privacy badger
you already have the link to reddit. go there instead.

Update your filter list and/or add more filters
Or just block script with ublock origin

firefox sucks shit they destroyed the addon community and they are making all these terrible UI changes and additions

https everywhere is objectively inferior

>lurk more faggot

Ft DeepDark is fucked, what now?

Switch to Waterfox.

>
>T R I G G E R E D
Haha every time. Greetings from Reddit (t m)

When will Firefox throttle CPU of background tabs like Chrome? It uses way too many CPU cycles right now

telemetry status: locked
enjoy your botnet

Can anyone tell me if having Firefox 58's always on tracking protection + uBlock and uMatrix is redundant? Will it result in any performance loss for no gain if I leave them all on?

What the fuck is this HTML5 canvas shit it keeps asking permission for in every new page now?

still slow as fuck compared to chrome and safari
