If you can't handle a good rare steak you don't deserve any steak at all btw

If your "purrr-fectly cooked" steak is basically crude meat covered with charcoal, more power to you.

If you need 14 minutes to cook a steak to minimum rare your using way too low of a temperature and your steak isn't going to be good. You need a good sear on the outside to keep all the juices in.
