Co worker sells my gear vr for 50 bucks

>feel sick for hours after
Does this go away?

No. You might have gotten brain damage

It's really obvious that you've never truly gone outside in years.
How does it feel, having nausea for the first time in your life?
You should try living a little more hardcore. Read a book on the bus. Or stand up really fast after lying down for a while.

No not really

If you get motion sickness then that's pretty much it. Some do, some don't.

Not all games will do it.

I get motion sickness too, op. VR is not for us.

Too bad.

VR with a display under 90hz will give you nausea over time when making many sudden movements (like playing games)

Since Gear VR uses Phones with 60hz, you might get dizzy from camera movements

You'll never know unless you keep playing through the nausea and force yourself to overcome it. Same thing happened to me when I first started playing my 3DS; felt dizzy and started getting headaches after half an hour. But I kept playing and after a few weeks, all the symptoms went away and I no experienced any of it when playing my 3DS.

Sadly, some people are just prone to motion sickness for no reason, like and mention. Same thing happens with my wife when she plays her 3DS so she keeps the 3D slider off permanently.

Just gonna keep using it for fapping since i cant feel pain while jerking it and go from there

joke

your head

>It's a someone who gets in everyone's face in public because of self importance guy.
You're not in school anymore plebhead.

yeah it does go away, also i recommend a cv1 or even dk2 if you want a decent experience

take some ginger pills maybe, theyre scientifically proven to stop motion nausea

Real VR is going to be shit for a couple of years. Get a high resolution 2018 headset like Cinego or Pimax instead.

you might have cancer

What's the best VR headset available right now?

unfortunately you need a $1500 1080ti to run high-res VR

Vive is the most flexible and has the best tracking but is also the most expensive. Handles room scale/standing up the best without question.
Rift is better for racing/flight sims and other seated games since the headset itself is more comfortable. Also a few hundred dollars cheaper.
There's also whole bunch of windows AR headsets available for around $200-250 including controllers right now. They are compatible with a lot of the games on steam but have the weakest tracking system. On the plus side the resolution is higher and setup is easier than the rift/vive as well as being much cheaper.

Coming out later this year are the Vive Pro and a few Chinese startup headsets like the Pixmax 6K/8K. The Vive Pro which is supposed to launch in Q1 is probably the best headset overall since it's not unproven kickstarter shit, but there's no solid details on pricing, release date, or the new Valve controllers with finger-tracking built in.
>tldr: Vive/Vive Pro, but they're the most expensive and not the best choice for everyone

>co worker sells my gear vr for 50 bucks

Did you steal it back or something?

that's because u became retarded lol now u cant feel anything

I already know about the ones not out yet. Sounds like the Vive is the best you can buy right now.
