Strangely, cfdisk has been more reliable for me than GParted while I've been distro-hopping. cfdisk just does things and I don't have to specify much so I'm less afraid of breaking things. With GParted, you have to think about begin and endpoints in your filesystem space, labels (which are kind of unnecessary), and sometimes GParted won't mount filesystems even though there's nothing preventing it from doing so.
oh, yes, I fucking love cfdisk
in a similar fashion, but totally different context: wicd-curses
A man of taste.
TestDisk, coq, radare2, mutt, nmap
Not strange at all. Command line is love and easy as typing.
Eh, I'm guessing I just haven't read the GParted documentation, so I'm probably missing the explanation on why it does things that way. No big deal, just found it interesting.

Testdisk saved my life in a moment when I was ready to slit my throat because I couldn't crack MiniTool Partition Wizard and it was the only problem that could find the partitions I had lost.
