Download firefox

Cool feature.

Jesus christ what a shitshow.

>reboot
>uninstall
>reboot
>download fresh installer
>fresh install
>still won't open

wtf is going on, am I being hacked?

...

Is firefox literally this unusable?

No. OP probably did something retarded. Firefox is my daily driver.

>want to use a new browser for instant access to alternative email address
>firefox doesn't work
>opera automatically logs into my primary email account

I swear to god this laptop has never had Opera installed on it, why the FUCK is it automatically logging into my primary email?

Yeah, something retarded like install firefox.
That's literally all I did.

>using windows
lmaoing @ ur lyfe

>uses proprietary botnet software
>"Oh my god, it really uploads all my shit and stores it forever?"
>mfw people like this exists
>mfw no face for that

I know about that.
But why is Opera automatically synching with chrome?

This is kinda getting to me now.

All I want is to use a different browser for a different email address.
Why won't the universe allow me to do such a simple thing?

>firefox opened 15 hours a day
>just works
maybe you have autism

No, OP is a retard. I've used nothing but firefox in the last 5 years and I never had such issues. In fact, I only had a single crash on firefox in the last 5 years and that occurred on a PC that's been in suspension/sleep for over 2 weeks with firefox open in background.

Because they use the same user folder maybe? That's, for example, how I have all my addons on Firefox and Firefox nightly even though I only installed them on nightly. Opera probably uses the same folder as chrome since they're both chromium based.

Must be a feature or some shit

used this to install 2 versions of firefox

>Because they use the same user folder maybe?
Then why bother asking me to synch with another browser if it's going to do that automatically anyway?

Yeah well, what happened happened.

Fresh install, crashes after 5 minutes, can't open anymore even after several reboots and another fresh install from another fresh installer.

Try cleaning all cache left by the browser and then reinstall. If Firefox still doesn't work install PaleMoon.

There wouldn't be any cache, I completely uninstalled FF.

so this has finally hit stable, noice. have fun debugging it, sjwzilla

Yes there would. Windows doesn't clean everything after removing software, neither does Linux if you're using it. Why do you think shitware like YourUninstaller, BleachBit and CCleaner exist?

>Why do you think shitware like YourUninstaller, BleachBit and CCleaner exist?
yeah, that's a good point.
I used to have crap cleaner years ago.

Yeah, that fixed it.
The fucking thing was apparently STILL running in the background somewhere, even after all those reboots.

>installs firefox
>shit works

Install GNU icecat

You can't see what it's doing or where it's running? Let me guess, Windows? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

...

That's very unusual.

You retard, it's the profile folder that keeps all your settings that was acting up with the new install. Quantum is different than the old ff so of course it wooldn't work.
lrn2cleaninstall

>so of course it wooldn't work.
Yeah. Of course.

>running in the background somewhere
>not being able to ctrlaltcanc into task manager and stop all processes named "firefox"
