Windows cucks of Sup Forums when was the last time you got/had a virus Sup Forums?

well over ten years ago. haven't had one since.

I'm immune to viri. I run Mac OS.

but you are not immune to Tyrone's cock

Back in the day viruses and malware used to be common as fuck and you wouldn't do well without some software that detects if you are infected, nowadays though unless you run a business and you practice safe browsing habits you are unlikely to get malware. That said I once tried cracking a game on a friend's laptop, and ended up downloading adware. This was about 2 years ago I think.

There are two types of people:
>Those that have a virus
>Those that don't know they have a virus
The best virus is the one you don't know about, because it can spread and steal more data over time (or complete whatever it needs to) without being detected and becoming known.

2006.
I had norton at the time, which did fuck all.
a seperate tool was released by symantec to fix this specific problem, but that fucked me even harder than the virus so i just reinstalled XP

nevee

When I had Windows XP and was dumb enough to plug my flashdrive on a stranger PC.

I just run Common Senseā„¢ Antivirus.
It's an incredible technology, you just boot up your brain and not be a retard.
Best of all, it's FREEEEEEEE.

never

is bitdefender good?

same

See
Bit defender is the best (free) av for personal use, but it still has a high miss rate

same and it was my dickhead friend who put it on there

I just remembered my sister plugged a usb last week in my win10 laptop running just common sense 2017

2012 when my younger brother came to visit and I made the mistake of letting him use my computer while I slept.

back when I used to use Windows, I got a few.
Last time I used it seriously (2 years ago i'd say), I got some shitty adware from downloading uTorrent. Word of advice: avoid that shit.
Other than that, I remember way back when I was like 14 and discovered porn and adult flash games. I got so many viruses from that it literally bricked the laptop (don't ask, I have no fucking clue).

Never.
I'm not an idiot.

Well over 5 years ago. Only issue i've ever had that comes close is bloatware, but that's not Microsoft's fault

It was a few years ago. It was back when I accidentally 30MB of RAR files

UAC prevents programs from running themselves.

In XP all you had to do was open a flash drive or have an exe in your cache and you got a virus.

Freetards tell you to disable UAC yet they themselves won't run Loonix with root privileges.

Dafuq

This is not remotely true.

I use autokms/spico so i dont online bank or anything. I guess russia botnet knows i like weird porn though.

Couple weeks ago when i download a S.M.A.R.T. tool from source force because i forgot sourceforge is malware. I like appreciated how google made that the first link for S.M.A.R.T. windows defender caught it and then i pirated hitman pro and ran that

the best virus is one thats been embedded within common software you use for a while and only later do people notice somethings wrong. See CCleaner

Never even considered not using my onilne banking because oh spico

Nigga, I write viruses now.

I dont use windows often but on linux whenever I download a file I always save it and scan it before opening it.

3-4 years ago

This is what winfags have on their mind at all times.

After downloading tinywall and having strict firewall settings, I haven't gotten a infected by a single virus.
adblocker is best virus prevention you can have. far better than any antivirus program. bitdefender has been effective so far

But who knows, I might even have one now as my computer seems to crash whenever I try to scan with rootkits enabled in MBAM.
>adblocker is best virus prevention you can have
This. Also common sense 2018.

Like 6 years ago. Plugged someone else's HDD into my pc and had the piece of shit known as AVG for AV, which let the virus go rampant before it threw a fit over all the affected files.
I will never know if got infected by something else.

windows defender just removed three different coin miners and a worm from firefox

I've gotten maybe two my entire life? Both were years ago. It's not hard to not get a virus

>three different coin miners
Install uBO.
>and a worm from firefox
Now.

WAIT GUYS *HAAA HAAAAAAA*
WANNA HEAR FUNNY JOKE?????xDDDD
>WINDOWS
>when was the last time you got/had a virus
*ASDHASHDADHADAHDHAAD8HAHAHAH*HAHAHAH
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA SO FUNNY
I USE LE GNU LE LENUX DID YOU KNOW IT?
AHAHAH ANO VIRUS HERE OMFG
WINKEK SO DONE OMFG
ON SUICIDE WATCH PLEASE KILL

that was honestly more autist than op, congrats

that annoying one that keeps making a folder or file transferred via and doesnt go away on format

via usb

This. More than 10 years actually. When I was between 11 and 13, way too recklessly downloading shitware and hunting down scraps of porn from sketchy thumbnail galleries.
That was 2000 Professional (and maybe XP too).

i dont know what that it is, but it looks scary.

My flatmate has no internet savvy and I refuse to plug USB's and shit to his laptop and download movies and films for him because he refuses to learn.
Currently using fs-protection, but its a fucking pain in the ass constantly asking me to switch on safe-search and there is no way to disable the message popup on startup.

2 months back. Fucken daemon tools. A shit load of adware. Wasted an entire day to clear that fucking trash.

I don't even remember, I think it was some adware that kept installing a browser extension, many years ago

>fs-protection
Now THAT sounds like malware

I cant recall too well, I guess it was like 8 years ago.

Funny, Im perfectly paranoid about getting malware and yet my PC is clean since long time.

I don't think I've ever had one. If I do then malwarebytes can't find it.

But why? Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 comes with build in tools for mounting images.

Been many, many years.
Last time my niece visited and used the computer for 5 min to be specific.

Modern kids are like literal mini-agents of the infection.

Way back in middle school when I didn't have an ad blocker or active antivirus and I was looking for free game downloads there was a forum that had so many malicious ads the computer almost froze with the sheer number of things that got dumped on it. Ran antivirus program and it found something like 400 threats and it still didn't get them all. Family brought it to a computer tech friend and the guy said he'd never seen that much malware on a computer in his life.

How are CCleaner and Source Forge malware filled? Could somebody explain?

uTorrent is full of malware of torrent files in general?

Why would you want to be immune to bbc? owo

Had a similar issue with this laptop caught by that weird ukash virus. Person who brought it in insisted I save his family photos and documents and shit. Managed to extract essentially 1 family photo but a fuckton of porn, then wiped his laptop. I charged double what the virus was asking and he paid it for less than a hour of work lol.

I've been torrenting everything and anything for years, only recently got a GPU miner for the first time.

his image says he is using windows 7

>CCleaner
Recently bought out by Avast. They once pushed an update (ver 5.3.4? that had malicious exe which had a backdoor). It only affected 32bits systems, but it was also on the 64bit version.
It's fixed now, but it's best to not touch any version AFTER that update. Bleachbit is an alternative.
>Source Forge
I don't have to explain anything here.

About 12 years ago when I was 14. It wasn't much of a problem.

I torrent from public trackers everyday and I've never had any issues. I do keep a separate computer for banking and finance before you call me a retard.

>Implying tyrone's is immune to my bp either.

kek
Here's a (You).

what do i do with (You)'s i collected?
is there a shop where i can buy premium membership?
or rare pepes?

>I don't have to explain anything here.

You do. I dont know anything about that site except that they host open source software files.

Since I upgraded to Windows 10 i haven't had one which has been about 2 years now, I had a few major ones on win 7 even with malware bytes and trying to be careful but it resulted in me wiping my os drive and reinstalling, the second or 3rd time I decided fuck it and got win 10

5 or 6 years ago at least.

My brother got malware on his phone a few months ago, and previously he'd had some spyware type shit on his desktop.

Couldn't have described us better buddy.

It was my first time torrenting games. My friends told me to get Daemon tools. I'm using WinCd Emu now. It just werks.

I don't click retard links so been a long time...
(If you download antivirus software you are pretty safe btw)

According to google this is an image of a "flower pot"

>I never had a virus lol
>don't click links and always use snake oil AV software
>just don't click freeporn.exe
I want Sup Forums to leave

when i was like 12 or 13 when i built my first pc on windows 7 i had some virus which played the sounds of a cheering and clapping audience any time up to half an hour after a boot. No antivirus would detect it and i couldnt get rid of it until i wiped my pc after like a year

Like 10 or 15 years ago, as I'm not a faggot who clics and downloads from anywhere.
