How much longer will Germany be the largest European economy? Can they last another decade?

bamp

As long as other countries keep pulling shit that cuts off 15% of their economy, yes.

Holy fuck Europe is poor. What happened? They used to rule the world.

Send more money to Poland/Croatia/etc.

If more follow the Brit paradigm then no.

It's population.

USA: 320 million people
Germany: 80 million
UK: 65 million

The US economy overtook the UK economy (because of population) when the British Empire was at its most powerful in the 19th century

He said Europe though.

>EU population: 508 million
>Europe: About 750 million

You guys are nice and stuff, but we're still decades ahead of you.

Well that's obvious. A huge fraction of that Europe population was under the gommies for half a century

Why aren't we contributing aid to Europe? They need our help

Cuckold porn isn't a prime necessity.

>we're still decades ahead of you.

Oop north really is a shithole the likes of which are unseen in Germany
Still liked it there though

Masterrace norway, also look at the reverse-midas effect of communism. The Czech Republic would be all orange at least if it weren't for the coup.

Prove me wrong. How much does an engineer or programmer out of the university earn?

until they finally pay war reparations to Poland and Greece

pay war reparations to the neanderthals already you war criminal fuck

Europe's growth was inflated by colonialism, WW1 and 2 devastated Europe's infrastructure and labor pools and made the nations too weak to hold on to their colonies. USA is a singular country with as much territory as all of Europe, which gives it a material advantage compared to Europe being split between competing countries.

>Masterrace norway
Yes, we would all be masterrace if we got lucky and found oil literally right on our doorstep.

Well too bad Europe is not one convenient collective entity

>map of Europe that includes Turkey
>it's German
What the hell is wrong with you people?

We're trying to form one, but you keep resisting.

how large is scotland's portion in that bar graph?

Is EVERYONE an engineer in Germany?

Please stop, Germany.

No. The Deutsche bank is going to fail...hard. They're doomed. ahahahah serves them well. That's what you get for allowing too much time for retarded right wingers to be in power.

>how large is scotland's portion in that bar graph?

It's pretty small and it's going nowhere

Nah, but our purchasing power is still far, far higher, our public services better, our social security higher and our regional asymmetry lower.

that's because we both know who the real masters of European civilization are

What has that got to with engineers

>bamp
pathetic

Why do you care? Don't get upset because of the retard who makes German economy threads every day, just hide them like every other reasonable person

And the US economy took over because the BTFO'd you in steel because they went hard into that shit while you pussied out, Germany beat you ebcause of its superior educational system during the industrial revolution, giving more opportunities to the smart lads of the lower classes and being non-shit at it in general

>Is EVERYONE an engineer in Germany?
Yes, part of my latin courses consist out of mandatory engineering lessons
I can build a combustion engine now, but I feel like I should have learned how to repair my car instead

>Why do you care?

I am looking forward to the UK being the largest economy in Europe for the first time* in over a century. It will be a watershed moment.

*not counting the immediate aftermath of wars

Well, we also used to sack other peoples shit due to an extravagant advantage.
Now that the whole world has the same tools of technology and invention at its disposal the world's societies will get a place quating to their manpower and ressource richness so europe will naturally revert back to its position of the cap of asia like it was in the early middleages.

Is not bad tho, as long we manage to specialise and keep up a high trust, highly innovative society.

We will forever be bigger than the island apes.

>inb4 graphs about birthrates
Nobody will give a fuck about shrinking workforce in 20-30 years with all our automatisation. We don't even need much consumers since our economy is export based.
it is the biggest lie of Merkel an her cucks that we need immigration to keep economy up
You speak as if there was a tendency for Germany to lose their position for some other country. Are you delusional?

B-but Britain a-and France have way more muslim babies while Germany is shrinking ;_;

>You speak as if there was a tendency for Germany to lose their position for some other country. Are you delusional?
No just realistic. Germany has been the biggest European economy for the past 100 years or so for 2 main reasons

1. Higher population
2. Higher GDP per capita

The most important reason is the GDP per capita because if there's a gap between the UK and Germany, it means we don't even need to match their population to overtake them. We just have to get closer in terms of population.

The population gap is closing. Today it's 15 million, a couple decades ago it was 20 million people.

The total nominal GDP difference between Britain and Germany has already halved from around $1 trillion to around $500 billion in less than a decade.

Population gap between UK and Germany

>B-but Britain a-and France have way more muslim babies while Germany is shrinking ;_;

Pretty sure the intake of Muslims into Germany is now greater than that into the UK thanks to certain humanitarian policies...

A bigger population isn't a good thing on this island. We need a more fuck off we're full policy starting from now.

A bigger population is the trend, I am just telling it like it is. It can be a good or bad thing depending on how it's managed.

It's not true that we don't have space, only about 2% of the UK is built-on. However it is true that certain cities are getting too crowded. That's the thing about immigration, the immigrants don't spread out around the country they go to places that are ALREADY crowded, usually where there are already immigrants. In that sense they don't take up extra space, but they do put a strain on public services.

It can be dealt with by investing the revenue earnt from them into better infrastructure

You sound desperate.

1) in PPP terms, their GDP is more than a trillion dollars ahead of you.
2) they have an empire (the EU), you don't.
3) There's no reason to suppose that population growth in the UK is going to be consistently higher than that of Germany, especially now that you're leaving the EU.

>It's not true that we don't have space

Yeah I know Britain has the space and it's a miracle after the Industrial Revolution and everything after that we have as much countryside and the alike left. There's already over a million Poles here now, that should be enough surely let's close the doors and let a select few in.

>1) in PPP terms, their GDP is more than a trillion dollars ahead of you.
In PPP terms they are behind Russia and we're behind Indonesia. PPP isn't good for international comparison of states, PPP is good if you want to know how much it costs to buy a Big Mac relative to somewhere else. Not the same thing as aggregate economy size.

>2) they have an empire (the EU), you don't.
Interesting take on the EU.... please remind the ECB they're part of the a German Empire when they defy German objections about monetary easing for yet another year.

>3) There's no reason to suppose that population growth in the UK is going to be consistently higher than that of Germany, especially now that you're leaving the EU.

Actually there is. Population growth is not only driven by immigration. There are 4 aspects to it.

- immigration
- emigration
- birth rate
- death rate

Germany has a lot more older people than us.
Germany has a much lower birth rate than us.

Germany has higher immigration now due to their refugee policy (although taking in unskilled people of a completely different culture won't do that much for the economy), the UK's immigration is lower but consistent over a long period of time. The majority are in fact skilled workers from outside the EU. That will continue when we've left the EU.

I think that 1) if there's space (yes) and 2) if the government finally decides to spend properly on infrastructure (hmmm) we should take in the skilled workers our economy needs. Whether from the EU or outside it. Our skilled immigrants more than pay for themselves.

Germany is better, i admit it with no shame because i've seen germany from corner to corner and what i have seen is as close to perfection as a nation can get. And the people.... Too kind and friendly for their own good, this is why i need help to understand why, after building such a wonderfull country, you ffight so hard to destroy it, you people are too good for this world

T-thanks user ;___;

We aren't as kind as you think in every regard, but regarding immigration we've really been indoctrinated.

You're welcome Hans, your cunt is beutifull and you, as a people, are welcoming and friendly. Controlled immigration is not bad, but you need to get a grip on this open door immigration, Merkel must pe stopped! You must save Germany
