Get the fuck out of my way

...

lmao speedlet

>jpg

>having to buy RAM clocked higher than your CPU for it to work properly

lol

>1.472V
B-be safe user, make sure you got a fire extinguisher by the hand.

Yeah, it used to work at 1.375v but it's been degrading for a year now. I'm just waiting until I see an X79 board going for for

Fuck yeah, Westmere.

Just got the 1070Ti, great card.

You got a hackintosh going?. If so got a link to your iso and/or setup info?

Sure

Will OC the CPU tomorrow or something, just bought a new ram, cpu and mobo.

Upgrade from my 2600k. Gonna make a PC for my family out of my old parts, I love that CPU I can't get rid of it....

It's an 8700k btw, not sure why it hasn't come up.

yea yea i know H board and K processor but back when i was making my pc it was either waiting to save up more or buying the H and getting a new one whenever i wanted to overclock(and im not too patient)

DDR3 standard originally was 1.5v anyway so meh

73c idle

nvm I see its under load
>pic related me

120Hz came out after I got this laptop.

...

I wish I had a bigger budget when I made it. I'm stuck in the point were I want to upgrade but can't justify it.

Rate

oops wrong pic.

>alienware

>64gb @ 1197mhz ?
>Cucked 1080 with only 4GB
>Garbage tier Segate storage.
>Probably cost 2x as it should.

found this motherboard on the curb years ago and now it's !retro!

posting is hard

I have lost control of my life (that LG is 43")

The processor is an 8700k.

>1197mhz ?
It's Double Data Rate, so double that.

All 1080s have more than 4 GB memory, mine included

...

...

What should I upgrade first for better gaming/general use performance? SSD?

Mid-range build coming through

hello my ryzen bros

8700k @ 4.9

...

>general use
ssd, a small used one for your os should run $30-40

>gaming
you need a gpu bruh

...

I hate being poor.

...

I bought this laptop (Dell Latitude E7250) last April for around $330, and gosh do I love it

>no SSD

>i5 6500
>GTX 1080
>1080p 60Hz
Either you needed a cheaper graphics card or a better CPU + monitor

I don't want to upgrade yet

>mfw all this for watching youtube

And stupid

what is this shit thread??
literally everyone is posting the same shit, 100% wintoddlers
>b-but lol bros look how much money I spent on my gaymer parts

...

are you jello, or what? this thread is "as is", doesn't need to have any point or so. we do it because why not.

Why are you even on a technology board if you use training wheels?

are you trying to tell me that windows isnt technology, or what?

It's not, it belongs on

W-w-what do you think of my box, user?

That temperature

Work and gaymen desktop.

...

i want a Ryzen system already
But fuck the DDR4 prices

>poor
>21:9 meme monitor
>16GB of RAM

This is why you're poor.

Cost about ~$130 total after reusing my hard drives, DVD drive and PSU.

It doesn't have a case, it's on a slab of cardboard with a laundry basket over it.

...

Nothing out there interests me in upgrading.

>gtx 650 & 770 not on SLI
How?

Also you can see considerable improvements if you buy Ryzen+ in April with 16/20 GB of DDR4 ram.

If you don't really game, a Volta GPU will do nicely too, and so will a 1TB hard drive. Otherwise even a 1050 ti will do you wonders.

It all comes down to needs and money. I dont think its the weak offering that makes you not want to buy but rather money. Im not saying you're poor, but if you really had a lot of disposable income to the point of upgrading a pc is trivial; you would buy them

...

21GB dual channel? Literally how?

8GB-4GB-8GB-1GB

In every game I'm still only hitting ~50-60% load on my CPU. There's still plenty of life left.

My 770 is around 10% better than a 1050 Ti. Easily gets 60FPS in most games with a mix of high and ultra settings.

I keep the 650 for my second monitor.

8+4+8+1 is not dual channel, you brainlet

Well that's what my DIMMs look like.

the speccy is simply shit :c

ok

...

Make fun of me. I can take it.

hmmm

That's an unusual amount of faith in Seagate (especially the 3TB models)

>audio through your monitor
Disgusting.

Could use an SSD, but otherwise fine.

Found the poorfag.

Same

>youtube.com/watch?v=4chk3fWb6xI - Stuttering in modern gaming
This is the only real upside I see to you upgrading. However,
>youtube.com/watch?v=2wTpkgBiySE - IME backdoor debacle
>youtube.com/watch?v=s7W5zsLp7xY - Meltdown vunerability
All these issues would remain even if you did upgrade. And if you do decide to upgrade, you may also need to delid your chip, assuming you want to stay with the blue team.

How's that samsung monitor working for you? All of mine have been temperamental as shit.

I know that feel.

That's painful. Just put a lightweight loonix distro on that rig.

>eurocom sky s4c
is that a prebuilt coffinlake? Never seen that mobo (U3E1) outside of mobile parts.

Ayylienware actually has good prices in this rammageddon memecoin cardpocolypse.

HISENSE TVs are usually trash. I hope you got a warranty.

>single channel
Shit man, you would have been better off buying 2 4gb dimms.

>is that a prebuilt coffinlake?

It's a 15.6" laptop; which I suppose counts a a prebuilt.

I want to show the speccy for the new PC I built but it's using the wrong sensor for my CPU temperature and people might get the wrong idea.

my wife koma chan a cute

...

...

>absolute brainlet
No, not through my monitor. I use my Blue Yeti in sound-card mode and plug my headset in to it.

You have some nerve.

...

hey user.

right away i can see you only have 1 gig stick of ram

having dual channel memory will give you a nice boost in performance.

also if that ram stick is ddr3-1600 maybe you need to change some setting in bios.

as for cpu maybe disabling all the power saving settings and cool and quiet will help maintain constant performance but will consume some more power and more heat out put.

as for ssd, you could go with something like a 120 gb.

but if you wanted the cheapest ssd you could go with a 60gb one for like 20-25$ on ebay.

hope that helps

also me

yo homie how long have you had that hp ssd? I have had three of those fail after 4 years each so be safe user.

...

Very nice user, i like you

Thanks! I'm glad I didn't fuck anything up hardware choices-wise. A pair of SSDs would have been better, but I wanted a lot of space.

>HISENSE TVs are usually trash. I hope you got a warranty.

For less than $400 including tax brand new I love it. UHD and plenty of connections. Looks great

I love my Vega!

...

You think it's time to upgrade?

I'd buy another stick of RAM but prices are fucked

nah you good

wew laddie
can you even watch youtube at 720p?

A bit choppy, not going to lie. Was thinking of getting more ram but never got round to it

rate my setup pls

I've kept this desktop going through countless failures and even broken CPU pins replaced with a thumbtack needle. Shitty cooling that was made worse via fan failures. Memory is downrated or it starts BSODing mysteriously (I didn't find out why for a long time.)

Fuck it. It just keeps going.

Running strong since 2012.
