What is some rvw as fvck BM? After listening to pic related I'm kinda interested in that type of BM.
>Anthrax — Bring Tha Noize
>Static-X — Push It
Apparently. I never kept track of this.
Forgot to include my most listened, these two have equal plays atm
>My Chemical Romance — Teenagers
Fuck you this is my jam

Most listened metal song of all time:
Guardians of Asgard
Fb2k doesn't have that functionality but my most played song would probably be Serenity Painted Death. Once that opening riff begins, I can't not listen to the whole song.
I hate to break it to you but that's not kvlt at all
Got any black metal with good sound quality and where the guitars don't sound like broken beehives and the drums don't sound like someone is beating wet carpets with a shitty microphone. I know that's not "kvlt as fvck" but god damnit, if you consider a recording shit because it's Hi-fi, then fuck you too.
I know but it's far more kvlt than their newer stuff. I used to hate the kvlt stuff but now I don't mind it so I want to listen to some real trve shit now.
That's a lot of assumptions and projecting in one sentence, but is this what you are looking for?

lol, i remember making a post exactly like this when i first started browsing Sup Forums
you have a long way to go, user
Something like that.
Thanks user.
Pic related is pretty hi-fi by BM standards.
there is literally nothing wrong with spotify
TUMBLING DOWN TUMBLING DOWN TUMBLING DOWN
Also checked.
I'm still wondering why this album didn't get any attention from the main music review websites. It's really great. One of my favorite albums of the last year.
I'm sorry man, trve kvlt is to be found by oneself.
I listen to music on different platforms, depending on whether or not I own the music or have to stream it, but out of my iTunes it's:

It's the song along with Cold by At The Gates that got me seeking heavier music, despite being very melodic and tame, I still love going back to those songs
No, fuck your ignorant ass. You're acting like hi-fi BM doesn't exist when it's been the "standard" for ages. There are tons of it.
>goes to Sup Forums
>is a regular in /metal/
>isn't used to the ignorance general Sup Forumstant hipsters bring with them when they post in here
Same for me actually, except for Only For the Weak by In Flames instead of Cold.
I still enjoy Twilight of the Thunder God to this day occasionally. Nothing wrong with wanting some melodic, tame music every once in a while.
Spotify is alright. It's not great, but it's a good deal. The streaming doesn't earn an artist tons of money, but it's something and it fucks with piracy, so more money for artists, even if it's just a little. I still buy music besides using it.
Anyone have a link to 2014 alestorm? can't find it anywhere
it shouldn't exists tho
You guys store your music as FLAC right?

Stop viral marketing
Bleak by Opeth was the first heavier song for me
Terminus by Dark Tranquillity got me indo mdm later
>You guys store your music as FLAC right?
no because i don't give a shit
>listening to memestorm
oops
Wasn't the first ever heavy song I listened to per se, but it's the first one I truly jammed to and headbanged to in my room.
Everything was still fine back then, no high standards. I also enjoyed Five Finger Death Punches debut album back then
innocent times
i appreciate the effort but I can't torrent because I'm using campus internet
>not listening to memes because they're memes
Do you sometimes wish you could enjoy that kind of music again?

Literally took me 5 seconds of googling to find.
My first "extreme" metal songs were these

youtube.com
I still like CoF.
I can still enjoy Amon Amarth, honestly I am glad I am past music like System of Down, Five Finger Death Punch etc, looking back it was just really bad
>I still like CoF
Now that the dust has well and truly settled, I think we can all agree that this is the official AOTY of 2015?
>nobody mentioned this as their first heavy song yet
Guess I'm a first
youtube.com
Dusk and Her Embrace is a very good album, you should try it.
My first 'extreme' metal songs were actually a demo from a local death metal band. Never found it again.
After that, Dimmu Borgir - Progenies of the Great Apocalypse was my to-go popular extreme metal song. I still listen to it sometimes, but Dimmu Borgir is pretty lame.
What did you think of Amon Amarth's new album?
Must admit I haven't listened to it yet, it's too expensive for now, but I enjoyed Deceiver of the Gods
>paying for music
wtf xD
I mean sure I buy really good albums to support the bands where I can, but if I can't afford something I'm gonna pirate that bitch no problem.
Nah, I'm not eager enough to listen to it to pirate it. I'm gonna buy it some day, they got me into metal after all
Deceiver of the Gods was pretty enjoyable.
You may want to pirate the new album or listen to it on youtube or something before putting down for it first. I couldn't get myself to like it after four listens and gave up.
At Dawn's First Light is kickass, but it's a mediocre record overall.
I still go back to Surtur Rising occasionally because there's not a bad track on that album.
this thread might as well be
>nostalgia edition
that's a really weird way to spell grindcore senpai
Is there any trad doom guide image?
I asked this yesterday, but you guys got any middle European distro sites for 80's early 90's underground thrash, similar to hellsheadbangers or red stream?
Greatest riff ever is contained in this youtube link you rubes.

Name your favorite Eastern European heavy metal albums
darkthrone - under a funeral moon

Yeah, same with TotTG. I used to dislike Embrace of the Endless Ocean when i was a teen but it's one of the best tracks on the record
fuck off
Rather weak album desu. Not a single track stands out, except maybe Death Squad.
wow, he actually showed them titties

Holy shit guys, Luc did it again, absolute madman

This is a marvelous piece, absolutely astonishing work, superb prog, tasteful production like holy shit this is in every way better than already awesome colored sands.

When I saw them some teenage Mexican girl was holding her ipad up to his face with the flash on and he kicked it out of her hands and told her to fuck off.
krallice has the best gutar sound in the game
>already awesome colored sands.
That's not much of an accomplishment considerin colored sands was 3/10, this one is a lot more interesting so far, but doesn't look like it's going to come even close to how good obscura or FWTH was
Sounds neat user

10/10 slamming brutality right here

not memeing, these slams are out of this world
is this a sub-genre that worships cryptopsy
It's definetly influenced by them, but it's far more influenced by suffocation and devourment, you could say suffocation created slam
It's Suffocation with less creativity and more N.W.A
>colored sands
>3/10
gr8 b8 m8
not b8ting, my honest opinion, I guess if you class mediocre as 5/10 then I'd raise it to 5/10, because it was complete and utter mediocrity
Mediocre is typically 5/10
Bad is 4/10
Awful is 3/10
Absolute garbage is 2/10
Deathspell Omega falls into 1/10
Mick and Colin are awesome.
>Deathspell Omega falls into 1/10
Nice meme friend, almost made me give you a serious reply.
"Si Monvmentvm Requires, Circvmspice" Is the only album I'd ever give a 0/10 to
It's dangerous to go alone, take this.
Hello Noktorn.
nah I'm not b8ting, I don't go out of my way to listen to five finger death punch or sonic syndicate because they probably released stuff worse than that, but of all the albums I've personally heard, "Si Monvmentvm Requires, Circvmspice" is a 0/10, a completely musically retarded album
That's a lie, though. If you had said something like that about his previous album i might agree but this one is very tight.
What the fuck this is just nu metal for fedoras
