That was surprisingly very prog. I didn't know what to expect with Jeff Buckley. Haven't heard much outside of hallucinations. He really carried that riff out... Pretty good! Is his discovery worth digging into?
me too, I heard that in a comic book store a couple weeks ago and when i asked who it was my mind was literally blown. I always just assumed he was like a mellower stevie ray vaughan or something.
I only heard a few songs from his album but surprisingly there are some similar moments.
The second one made me feel weird but I searched up the first one on Spotify and I'm playing it till someone recommends something more interesting. So far spooky
Can, Soft Machine, Faust, Jethro Tull, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, This Heat, The Mars Volta, Porcupine Tree, Gunter Schickert. One of these gotta float your boat.
Classic. What else is good from elp? Having kind of a hard time getting into their sound
Birds and Buildings. Literally god-tier
Caeser's Palace Blues

you didn't mention yes so im just gonna say yes
This is good, I have the album running now. Currently on tunguska, loving the vocals
Top 3 yes albums? I go back to yes on occasion but I gotta be honest I can't get by some of the vocals, I wish they'd change it up a bit more. I wanna like them cause of the pace and the drums but gah
what? the vocals are one of the best parts about Yes Jon Anderson is exceptional
I love prog rock, but i've never found whats so cool about prog metal
Any rec to change my mind?

Who are you quoting?
Your mother.
Did you actually listen to all of King Crimson? They have a fuckload of incredibly varied albums and only 1 or 2 of them MIGHT not be worth listening to.
My favourite by far has got to be Red. The sheer energy of that record is dizzying, followed closely by ITCOTCK
Camel - Mirage is my favourite prog album of all time.
Seeing Lady Fantasy live was one of the best things I've ever seen.
I once slept to this album and in my dreams lady fantasy was playing in the background
Probably the best, comfiest music experience i've ever had,
...
you guys should try Le Orme
