Wtf really? How can this be better than Station to Station, Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory or ever Aladdin Sane.

>How can this be better than Station to Station, Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory or ever Aladdin Sane

Crazy isn't it? And also one of the best albums of the 70s.

Side 1 > Heroes >>>>>>>>> Side 2

Sound and Vision , generic rock ????

Literally none of it is generic. What in the World, Breaking Glass, Sound and Vision, Always Crashing, it's more Avant pop than anything else

DONT LOOK
AT THE CARPET

>still considered the best Bowie album
What? I thought we were all agreed this was his magnum opus?

Right , Im saying it cant be generic , I was questioning OP !

It is , dont let anyone tell you otherwiss

>Eno tracks on second side with no Bowie touch
eat a fucking cock you faggot
eno only has writing credit for warzawa
the others were bowie creations with eno being the synthesizer monkey

subterraneans=side1>>side2

It seems like I'm not the only one who thinks that the first half of Low is much better than the second.

Aladdin Sane is consistently underrated.

this, and Subterraneans is way better than Wazawa

Agreed

No it's not. Worst album from his glam era. Diamond Dogs is his best, followed by Ziggy, then Aladdin Sane. Sane is too dry for me.

None of it is generic, it's krautrock influenced art rock that sounds unlike anything that was in the mainstream at the time.
>>Eno tracks on second side with no Bowie touch
>no Bowie touch
Bowie co-wrote all of the ambient tracks.

>Worst album from his glam era.
You're forgetting Pin Ups.

Nobody counts Pin Ups.
Bunch of shitty covers.

Hunky Dory>Aladdin Sane>Ziggy Stardust>Diamond Dogs>TMHSTW>Space Oddity>Shit>Pin Ups

I think there's a bit of a Seinfeld effect going on here, this album was a lot more remarkable when it was released.
I mean, it even sampled Pac-Man three years before Pac-Man.

Why was this album so shit...

H E R O E S

...but this is one of the best live albums of all time?

What happened? Was it the drugs?
