Another political hip-hop album that tops TPAB.

either something artsy to the point of being unappealing to the masses, something generic as fuck that people will lap up or he'll actually flame out and create nothing of worth

Like that's even possible he's already peaked

A bunch of shitty features like the one on Bad Blood and another political album that will not top TPAB.

However, I think that if kendrick stays current and persistant with today's evolving political problems, he will come out with a brilliant album.

Radiohead hit their peak from 1995-2001 and then they released In Rainbows. An artist can have multiple peaks in their career.

He's been too consistent. Gotta be a huge disappointment next, it's the only course of action. Perhaps getting in some big name producers who aren't actually very good now that he's (sorta) famous. Screenshot this, because I'm sure I'm right.

gkmc > untitled > tpab > section.80

He and Black Hippy should focus on a serious album release

>youtube.com/watch?v=gR9QdLqXx-I

YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT SHIT DOESN'T BANG.

A shower and a diet hopefully, he looks disgusting

For his next album he will try to use the TPAB formula again, but he'll alienate some listeners. There will be lots of free jazz on the project, and only 2 or 3 bangers. Won't be nearly as popular as his previous albums. Then he take a 3 year break and releases his magnum opus.

fucking racist

everyone thinks he wont top TPAB when the real question is if he'll ever top section 80 cause thats truly his best work. TPAB is only highly regarded because you literally cant dislike it. Youre either a hater or a racist if you dislike it apparently

so both things are bad for you. You piece of utter shit

nooo, its goes section 80>gkmc>overly dedicated>tpab>untitled

correct

>putting section 80 last

nigga you trippin

real trip is to not mention O.D. classic tape

He actually kind of looks like Nick Drake. I think it's the lips, particularly the bottom one.

premature death

probably going downhill from here. Or repeating himself.

You have a really weird eye for faces

absolutely right

I kind of agree with this

can't stand ab-soul's voice/style of rapping

>overly dedicated over tpab and untitled
what the fuck is wrong with you

an album that finally successfully fuses jazz and hip hop in a satisfactory way and returns jazz to its rightful place as the artistic voice of disenfranchised black communities

nothing against hip hop though

...

if he sticks with jazz, it it wouldn't be really jazzy tho. it would be the flying lotus, brainfeeder, thundercat, kamasi washington neojazz stuff that got boring in 2014

he's going to retire and join the kkk

pls delete this, its spoopy

Make a dirty, psychedelic production-wise full length LP, with tight features and insane flows.

basically everything I want from a new kendrick lamar album

there's little to no good psychedelic sounding hiphop

he'll be fine

I'm hoping he can eventually do another wave of attempts at that kind of fusion and do it "right," or at least better than that stuff was. I don't mind that, or groups like tribe and the roots, but I think there's space for an innovator to perform that fusion in a more satisfying way

this would be dope too

he becomes a stale and irrelevant political act like rage against the machine

yeah but unless its cudi tier people will praise it as amazing

he's going to be doing a fucking ton of singing and vocal led music imo

i think he should just quit for 50 years and then release a final album desu, shame that he can never top gkmc

spacious, trap-influenced beats where he just goes off.

if the last thing he did was maximalist jazz, his next will be minimalist rap

>Section 80 last
Your not a hip hop fan are you?

A more consistent release hopefully

Leg extension surgery

Maybe he'll finally do something good

but he just got a leg reduction recently?

I think he could drop out now and be a legend, GKMC and TPAB are both fucking amazing. That said I don't think he'll ever top either of those. Not due to a lack of talent or ability, or even ambition, just because those albums were so good that it'll be a miracle to replicate. Who the fuck knows though, really?

new age jazz

>I am a hip hop fan

Further mediocrity and superficial political analysis that appeals to high schoolers. More think pieces published by progressives that are actually halfassed interpretations of his vague political content rather than analysis of his music. More dick sucking from herd mentality plebs who don't know how to play instruments. More studio hired songwriters to compose his uninteresting music for him. More pseuds who have never read a poem outside of ninth grade English class explaining to their suburban moms that Kendrick's lyrics are high literature.

Success, in other words.

hopefully porn

Blacked.com actor

>Young Thug fan having an opinion on Kendrick

mediocrity

lupe is entering his second peak rn. here's to hoping he can pull it off.

Holy shit I had totally forgotten about him, thanks for bringing him up again OP

why would he abandon his current production team, those guys can make more accessible stuff easily. thundercat, flylo, sounwave

then again cudi made the same mistake by leaving plain pat and emile

worst black hippy song you could've picked. say wassup is good. their uoeno remix bangs.

im asian and i fucking love it, proof that it's not about race but true artistic suffering.

>you shoulda feeled that black revolver blast a long time ago
>and if those mirrors could talk it would say "you gotta go"
>and i told your secrets
>the world'll know money can't stop a suicidal weakness

tell me that isn't some van gogh shit.

>im asian and i fucking love it, proof that it's not about race but true artistic suffering
In what way is your racial identity proof that TPAB's acclaim has nothing to do with political pandering?

>tell me that isn't some van gogh shit.
That isn't some Van Gogh shit. Van Gogh was a capital-G Genius who expressed his unhappiness through a hallucinatory command of color, innovative sense of movement, and an unparalleled depiction of sentiment and mood through the manipulation of light.

Kendrick Lamar expressed his unhappiness by directly telling the audience he sometimes experienced suicidal thoughts.

The difference in skill level between the two artists is so fucking extreme that I have to think you know absolutely nothing about both painting and music to suggest that they are in any way comparable.

kill whitey

He's going to go further into black culture and rap over African drums and rhythms

a concept album about reebok

whatever the fuck he wants

i think he'll expand on tpab and release the next album as a band a la d'angelo and the vanguard

gkmc > s80 > untitled > tpab > od > ep

and wear a lip disc

Prince-style RnB

dont listen to him

He's gonna go full afrobeat

The remain in light of our generation

i can see his next one going more electronic, like a toned down flying lotus type sound

a u form atelanat xD

UM already had a little different direction than TPAB if you ask me. i think (and hope) he goes more into the direction of untitled 2. it was darker and had him use his vocals a little different and more out there.

section 80 is definitly his worst, stop being contrarian. there are some awful tracks on there.

WE WUZ KANGS

WITE MAN DA DEVUL

WE WUZ RAPPAZ AND WE MADE DA ROCK MUZIK AN SHEEEIT

WE IN DA WITE HOUSE NOW WITEY U FINNA DO SUTHIN? SHEEEEEEEEIT

for you

>cracker talk about the shit we fling
>but he forget that we wuz kingz

Judging by this the subject matter will revolve around Donald Trump and it'll be called 'Make America Hate Again'. It will be a rushed, muddled mess with some fucking amazing individual songs and moments. It'll keep some of the jazziness but will have some hardcore hip-hop influence as well, more aggressive like track 5 on UU. There will be a clear influence from Run The Jewels' masterpiece RTJ3 a couple years ago.

Tbh the comparison pisses me off a bit because The Bends is a much bigger album than fucking Section 80, it would make more sense to say:
GKMC - The Bends
>pretty traditional and generic but still 10/10 songwriting, a classic in the genre
TPAB - OK Computer
>the artists's true masterpiece. not experimental yet, but incredibly arsty and ambitious

Probably a few more "we were kangz, kill whitey" albums that will ride on calling everyone who dislikes it a racist, until he retires

a hip hop album sampling nothing but his porn career and white women

Why do people keep treating Amnesiac as an album of unreleased songs? It's more consistent than Kid A t b h
