LIGHTS WILL GUIDE YOU HOME

>mfw I'm going to wake up to a new Radiohead album

omg guys only 28 more hours holy shit

STROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBE LIIIIIIIIIIGHTS AND BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN SPEAKERS

Source for OP image: youtube.com/watch?v=4CUdyXOeuJs

Radiohead's album will be releasing in 14 hours.

WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVEEEEEEEEE

WHERE IS THE LEAK

HOLY FUCK CHECK THE SITE

I'm not sure how this guy did it. The videos made me curious about what paper tastes like, so I ate a bit and it was not pleasant, nearly gag inducing. Couldn't get a whole picture down.

IF DUBS NO PRESENT TENSE

Which Radiohead song sounds better live than the studio version?

Does this sound like Radiohead or what?
youtube.com/watch?v=Wq8gH4us23g

Somebody tell me I'm not crazy

Bloom

Creep

Daydreaming literally sounds like Thom listened to White Birch's Star is Just a Sun once.

14 HOURS

If dubs we get True Love Waits

There are like 3 different live versions of Bloom and all of them sound better than the one on the album

what is the fucking context of this

it does once the vocals kick in

No Surprises

Like Spinning Plates

so what's the album called

Of course not. I know liberals would get mad if an artist doesn't hold their believes, it's a sign of immaturity, but whatever live and let live.

little by little
give up the ghost

fucking all of the TKOL stuff sounds better live

On leddit some ledditors said they would eat a photo of yorke if album got released or announced on friday

Somebody posted on /r/radiohead that if the album was announced on the 6th, they would eat a picture of Thom Yorke.

consequenceofsound.net/2016/05/radiohead-fans-are-eating-photos-of-thom-yorkes-face-to-celebrate-the-bands-new-album/

especially Feral.

youtube.com/watch?v=lm6Mk_pKO10

Rank these artists:
Radiohead
Coldplay
U2
Muse
Blur

Although I like the TKOL version of Bloom, I have to admit that the live versions are fucking insane. Specially the In the Basement version, which also improves enormusly TKOL.

Radiohead>the rest

there you go

Radiohead
Muse
Coldplay
Blur
U2

U2 is so fucking boring

youtube.com/watch?v=QQ9B1sxUDbE

Radiohead >>>>>> Coldplay >>> Muse >>>>>> U2 > Blur

Objetive rankings right here.

Radiohead > R.E.M. > Blur > U2 > Muse > Coldplay

HYPE

OKC > Amnesiac > Kid A > HTTT > IR > Bends > TKOL

Radiohead > Muse > Blur > Coldplay > U2

but Albarn > Bellamy tbqh

Man Coldplay always had such fucking potential. Damn shame they were retarded and chose the easy money paved way. They're solid songwriters when they want to be. Could have been respectable musicians.

youtube.com/watch?v=cm_hXMLZd-0

>HTTT > IR
Filtered

viva la vida is one of the best albums of the 2000s

Did they? The only album that I think it is solid is viva la vida the rest have one good single and filler.

Why all the hype around Radiohead?
They kind of got boring after in rainbows.

Kid A => IR > OKC > Amnesiac > HTTT => The Bends > TKOL > PH

Man the outro to that song reminds me... Imagine if they had gone shoegaze instead. There's some serious tight guitars in their earlier work that with some effects could be top tier shoegaze.

that's like asking why the beatles had hype in the 60s.

TKOL > Kid A > IR = The Bends > OKC > Amnesiac > HTTT > PH

>Dreamers
>They never learn
>They never learn
>Beyond the point
>Of no return
>Of no return

is this the saddest thom has ever sounded?

just look at this screenshot from the video. he is a broken man.

>they got boring after in rainbows
>only one album released after in rainbows
you can just say you didn't like TKOL

to be fair they did release a fair amount of songs and solo work afterwards

>>They never learn
Did the manlet memes get to Thom?

Meh, their only solid album for me was A Rush of Blood to the Head, and still feels like it has lots of filler songs.
Then it's a mix of average to straight garbage albums

Looks exactly like my dad

After lurking in /fit/ Thom decided it was time to make a new album.

Radiohead are great obviously, Coldplay and Muse have some good stuff, U2 and Blur are complete and utter shit.

Never heard this one. Really cool version.

CHOOOOO CHOOOO

someone post the tracklist plz

1. Ful Stop
2. Identikit
3. MK3
4. Burn the Witch

youtube.com/watch?v=zIklhgI-m2s
why is thom so cheeky, boys

It depends a lot on the type of paper. Magazine's paper are awful. I know BC when I was a kid I used to taste every single type of paper available

>radiohead fans

no ones mentioned the gloaming...

reee can't wait any longer

Radiohead
U2
Blur
Dogshit

Wow, someone else who actually agrees with me. I can't stand Identikit.

ThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThisThis

Plebs :^)
You probably think the live version of True Love Waits sounds better than the studio one, too... This board is full of retards

agreed

The entire album sounds better when it's played live.

I don't know if it is the mixing or what.

Yeah, the live versions are much better than the HTTT version.
Everything in Its Right Place also sounds incredible in concert.

yeah. I think Nigel Godrich really fucked up with TKOL. Bloom especially.

Feral is insane.

hope album is longer than TKOL and IR were

New question: Older fans...

What album pre-release were you guys first hyped for? Most hyped for?

I remember the excitement behind Hail to the Thief being insane. Turned out a tad disappointing. In Rainbows was tight.

U2
Radiohead
Muse
Coldplay
Blur

this. really hope its not on the album.

Karma Police at Glastonbury is godly

I hope we get at least 10 tracks.

Better than shitty burn the witches. So boring

nah man

new radiohead fan here

holy shit i've never been this hyped for an album, marathoned their entire discog this weekend

That song is legitimately awful. Almost as bad as codex. Painfully dull, what the fuck do people see in it

I don't consider my self an older fan, I was 14 when Hail to the thief was released and I thought it was underwhelming compared to their previous albums. I experienced the same with the king of limbs although I think TKOL is better than HTTT.

I'm hopping burn the witch is the worst song on LP9. I don't know what's with Thom and his fetish for loops.

>yfw In Rainbows was released almost a decade ago

I see so much hate for BTW when I thought it was pretty good.

am i not patrish enuff

>tfw its been 9 years since last good radiohead album
>tfw we might get another

FUCK U THOM

A few years back when TKOL was released, I thought Codex was one of the best things they ever did.

Listening to it now, I don't know how I once thought that.

i doubt burn the witch will even be on album. prob just a single to hype it up, getting released on 7" with Spectre, ya know?

B-but what about There There, Sail to The Moon, Backdrifts and A Wolf At The Door? Only Give Up The Ghost compares imho.
