Moto G5s Plus
Kek
Moto G3?
I found it too heavy for a phone, at 168 g.
My G5+ is pushing it at 155 too
I've got one of these, trying to find a phone that is strictly an upgrade has proven to be a real pain in the ass.
Everything newer seems to drop features I like, pick up features that I don't care about and balloon the price to 2 times of what it cost.
G5+ here, it's an amazing phone for the price.
Near-stock Android is a charm.
LG V20 is a hidden gem, it's got a removable battery, decent camera, dac, soc
good lineageos support, and there's also dual sim models available
on top of that it's got a bit of a gimmick second screen
Fuck off
rude
alls it needs is lineageos
Moto X Play is the greatest fucking phone I've ever used. My dad has one and he's getting a new one this year so I'm getting his Moto X.
HUGE upgrade over my shitty third worlder (Brazil) Galaxy Grand Prime.
I still use mine working fine, if it was waterproof I wouldn't have switched to 7 plus.
anything from oneplus
Too bad they lost so much trust after the G4 bootloop QC problems. Even mine bootlooped and I rarely get defective products.
Moto c plus.
It's like a long lasting battery with internet excess. A workhorse that can take a beating and is dirt cheap. I payed about 90E with a cashback thing on top. Never going back to the expensive bloated shit. Doesn't make sense after this.
Seconded. I love my v20 it freaking rocks.
I haven't touched lineage though because I really enjoy the second screen. If they implement it, I'd definitely install it.
Nexus 5
With a Mediakek processor and no updates ever, literally a rebranded Lenovo Vibe Something? The E4 is better.
>muh surveillance state tracking device
>muh ball blasting radiation in my pocket
just put it in airplane mode when you put it back in your pocket. the cancer link long suspected was proven a year ago
HTC 10? :3
No it wasn't you fucking lying dog.
Post some evidence right now. Sick of you paranoid neckbeard fucks pushing this rhetoric with nothing to back up your claims.
You won't do it will you? You'll just spout some more buzzword filled bullshit about MUH BOTNET with zero evidence. I fucking dare you to prove that the 1W transmitter in my phone is more cancerous than say the 5W TV transmission passing through you right now. Fucking do it.
So what? Battery life is still insanely good. You think i would buy it for any other reason?
Axon M, KeyONE, Moto Z
It is worse than the older Droid Turbo 2. It is THE MOST FORGOTTEN PHONE. It is also the greatest.
>almost 4k mAH battery
> 1440p
>great screen
>still quick
>unbreakable screen
all of the other motos are just hollow recreations of the turbo
>no one talks about
Here's the new phone I bought this evening online, faggots. If you only know low end phone brands, let me dumb it down for you. This is called a Sirin Solarin Crystal worth an amusing $16,000.
I never use cheap phones like working class faggots who act rich and use trash tier brands like iphone and Samsung. Money isn't a problem, but that's not something you can understand. Your overworked palms are too dirty to even be near expensive things.
To you middle class peasants who barely scrape by on bad credit, have fun dying early. I'll retire around the same time you're buried. This phone easily costs more than the shitty cars you drive, if you even own one.
AMA. If you are extra kind, perhaps I'll give you some life tips to be rich as I am. Just maybe you can luckily work for me some day, if you get up the ranks? Maybe serve me a glass of four figure priced wine?
Here's the downgrade btw: gsmarena.com
This.
Got it cheap af, Cyanongen 7.0, best camera on a smartphone I ever owned.
Gave it to my sis, got a Xiaomi Note 4, the cameras fucking suck.
One true phone is Razer and everybody knows that.
100%
Sony Xperia Z5c.
Gentleman, the pinnacle of comfy.
a3 2017
So many moto shills in here. I guess I must be one, too, though. Pic related
I've got one and I'm probably upgrading this year. Debating between the Nokia 8 and the xz1
Huawei Y6. It's chink shit and probably has CCP spyware but it's cheap as fuck for a decent entry level screen and quad core with removal battery and FM radio.
Which phone is best for watching anime?
Moto E then. Moto E 3rd gen. Camera is shit but it's a decent looking phone (unlike new Motos) and has really good battery life. And Snapdragon soc.
Wileyfox Swift 2
Comes loaded with CyanogenOS. Which stopped existing a while back, so mine is currently on stock 7.1.1
I think they planned to add most features from Cyanogen, but I skipped last update so I don't know how things are atm.
That pic is bullshit btw. It's from Wileyfox website, but it isn't an actual picture of the actual phone, just a mockup based on a design. The actual phone looks like shit.
Correct answer
bro you got ignored
Mi A1
Pretty good and pure desu.
Still my daily driver. Also still holding out hope Moto will pull their head out of their ass and release a worthy successor, I've almost bought a z2 play a few times but I really dislike the idea of stepping down in screen res. I'd get a vanilla z2 or force if they had a fucking mod that would give me more battery AND give me my god damn headphone jack back, preferably with a kickass dac/amp.
I've also looked at non-moto phones but I like my moto-gestures and at least pre-lenovo I liked the design language, post-lenovo the designs have gotten muddy a bit but still have a few decent looking phones, but I'm annoyed they've started putting the fucking logo on the front of the phones again, even samsung stopped that shit.
Fuck will no one save us from this maddness??
Also any other moto-bros, I have this idea for a mod it's basically the old moto atrix dock but for the z-line, you could make the mount point where the touchpad would be and just use the whole phone screen as the touchpad.
Thoughts?
Wileyfox is going out of business soon, I wouldn't expect any support from them in the future.
>No Verizon support
>drake_do_not_want.jpg
I would though if it had real carrier support.
the LG G5.
Last of the LG G phones to have a removable battery, and the entire lower bezel can be removed and you can add camera/mic attachments, making the phone modular.
I just bought one to replace my LG G3, glad I did.
Crossing my fingers I don't run into any bootloop issues.
I was tempted to get a Xiaomi but I needed a phone asap.
It's still uncertain. They made a promise for an Orea update after the news about financial trouble broke. If they really go down, I'm installing LineageOS.
>android
found your problem
LG V30
>balanced bezelless design without any curved edge or notch gimmick
>Hi-Fi DAC
>Actually useful secondary camera
>perfectly placed fast as fuck fingerprints sensor
>all the latest flagship boxes ticked (IP68, SD835, and so on)
>questionable screen
...
Lenovo P2
I'm using a V20, mainly because of the replaceable battery, and it's cheaper too.
Too bad it's LG so it's going to bootloop in 18 months.
I have it. Battery dies way too quick and the usb port is picky af. Besides that its quick and very durable. Had it for two years and still looks new.
I just wish it had a better battery, the USB port was better, oh yeah and my finger print scanner died. So that needs to last longer.

HTC one m8
Just bought a oneplus 5t. I was using an Axon 7 before. You're right, the moto x play was a great device until the fucking power button broke
you mean the one where the rats/mice in the control group got more cancer occurences than the group irradiated with 10x the safety standards? :r)
I appreciate how Nokia went with stock Android, but the hardware could have been better, especially the cameras. I own a 6, the build's solid, it just works, I wish I waited a bit longer since the new 6 seems superior in almost every way.
Moto Z Play with battery mod.
Stock and infinite battery for fucks sake i cant drain it completely.
I love my V20 but the GPS lock on is fucking ass, sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get a lock when my wife's phone is instant. It also constantly stops working on wifi forcing me to reconnect to the wifi network. But it's looking like it's gonna be the last removable battery/microsd phone, so I'm probably stuck with it until it dies.
I've got an x pure as well and I can't really see any phones that are worth buying at the moment.
Probably I will upgrade to a moto g6+ at the end of this year, but goddamn did Motorola make their phones ugly.
this desu
Screen is fine. Well, mostly: mine has a black dot on the screen, dead pixels I suppose. I'll have it fixed under warranty.
Samsung S(insert current version)+.
Great phones but I either throw it out or give it to my kids when I buy a new one every year.
>Post goygle Moto
Garbage
I have the turbo 2 and it is hot garbage after 2 years. Battery dies in half a day and the software patches have been absolute shit. Not to mention it only has one antennae so you can't make phone calls while using 4G data, but then again I'm on the Verizon Jew train.
Unbreakable screen is probably the greatest thing ever invented however, and literally makes up for all of the aforementioned flaws
Went from V20 to V30+. So underappreciated, sound quality is top tier. Expandable memory. Still waterproof and dust proof. Just waiting for bootloader unlocks and lineageOS. God tier phone regardless.
Xiaomi Mi 5
Samsung Galaxy A5 2017
Nexus 5X
>posted from my Nexus 5X
OnePlus 5 8GB RAM
Shits future proof for min 4 years.
LG is fucking trash at making phones, they are all massively flawed or start to fuck up after a while. I'll never trust them after owning a G3.
...
It looks exactly like my Moto G3
>Moto G post Motorola
Garbage.
Motorola was Android's last hope, why nobody noticed that
The Xperia XZ Premium is a wonderful phone but nobody ever talks about it since Sony doesn't have much of a hold in the US market.
Sup Forums doesn't really seem to care about this phone but I find it to be the best option all around. Being cheaper than most flagships is just a side effect.
>a3
This, it's probably the only worth Samsung phone
>cheap
>waterproof
>metal and glass casing
>near-stock Android OS
Why not pay a little more and get the A5 instead? Honest question.
Good question, I had the opportunity to pay 20$ more and buy A5 but still god A3 because I like the size more. It fits my hand perfectly while A5 felt too big.
I never liked big phones

Moto X Play
aka
Droid Maxx 2
Had mine for 2.25 years so far, still going strong
Should last at least another 2 years.
HTC M7
Librem 5
You should look into the Z Play which is everything the X Play was but more.
>muh gaming performance machine
>still gets dick slapped by the op5t
Another Moto X Play user here. 2 and a half years later and i'm still going strong.
After rooting and whatnot it's pretty much bulletproof. I don't do anything except extremely light tasks so I haven't seen much slowdown. The only thing that has seemed to take a hit has been battery life, but that could just be my kernel, and a swap would probably help.
I've also dropped it a bunch without ruining it, which is why I slot it above my dear old nexus 4.
are you illiterate? it's HTC's best/most widely known model
Mah nigga. Stock os is a little bloated, but once you remove it. It's pretty quick and responsive. Miui 9 is good so far.
dude the reason no one gives a shit about this phone is because the boot loops and the modular system ended up being a worse version of what Moto did (but removable battery is nice)
