Rock band releases pop album

>Rock band releases pop album

So, who did it better?

>thinking radiohead's entire discography isn't pop.

>thinking tame impala's entire discography isn't pop

arctic monkeys

Isn't only 50% of their discography "pop" and aren't they usually called an alt-rock band?
Neo-psychedelia =/= pop

Currents is DEFINITELY better than AM

>Radiohead
>rock band

>Neo-psychedelia =/= pop

>actually believing this

>Neo-psychedelia =/= pop

Good thing Tame Impala has only made psychedelic pop since Innerspeaker.

Enough semantics, who did it better???

Tom bones and da naughties

...

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan daaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy addddddddddaaaaa tyyyyyyyyyyyy

I'm liking Currents more than Pool honestly

Are you fucking twelve?

I agree. Alot of songs on Currents are pretty mediocre but those few songs that are legitimately awesome push it above AMSP.

what songs on currents do you consider legitimately awesome?

AMSP >>>>>>>> Currents

Let it Happen, Nangs, Gossip, and Disciples.

The worst part is that one of them is too long and the other three are too short.

Both of these albums are 9/10s for me but for very different reasons. They aren't comparable in the slightest. AMSP is in no way a pop album. Currents is in every way a pop album.

AMSP isn't even Radiohead's poppiest or most accessible album (That would be In Rainbows if you don't count their first two albums which are way too obvious)

a thing called
>pop rock

Except for a couple of tracks Lonerism is pop.
And that's not a bad thing at all

Radiohead by an enormous margin

Of course many loud mutants true to their contrarian impulses will say tame impala in the wake of moon's extreme critical acclaim even tho they were shitting on currents when it came out (and have been since)

Wtf why are these two bands being compared. One is neo-psychedelia, the other is not.
