Also, NEW LARKSBURG COMING OUT NEXT FRIDAY. It's the only Larksburg album to date recorded as a four piece that's been waiting to come out since last summer. It features sounds of post-punk, progressive rock, psych-pop, and more. When it comes out I'm going to be sharing it a lot in these threads ;)
I (Brett) and maybe one or two other members from the four piece group, are going to be on Sacramento State's campus radio program KSSU at 6pm, California time tomorrow. We're going to be interviewed about the new album and debut a track from it on KSSU.com. Just hit the 'live stream' option when you get there.
Thanks for listening!!

I put my emotions out in rap form
My very first project; this is something that I've been working on over the course of the year, tell me what you think and what I could do to improve

I've got something a little different in the works for my next project. I've actually been dedicating time to each individual song and not working on the next one till the one before is right. It's a slow process but it should mean my music will be more refined than before.
This is like a cool B sides album (I mean that as a good thing). i liked your bob dylan impression. you jump around a lot but always have this real spooky theme going. well done.
Thanks! I'm noticing everyone really enjoys that track we'll look into doing more similar stuff in the future
really digging the chill vibes

I make beats and am saving up to get a drum machine so i can do my passion even better!
currently looking for a rapper or a group or a
label to join into to promote my music and to collab!
any and all feedback is appreciated and i will do my best to leave some throughout the whole thread!
Damn man I really like this. Those are some nice beats and the sampling is chill.
I'd maybe be up for a collab (I'm ) but I need to finish a few racks of my own first. Hit me up on SC if you're interested soundcloud.com

Man, I have a really tough time finishing songs. It takes me years. Anyone run into this and somehow work around it?
you got writers block or what
I improv play for about an hour, record it and make songs from any parts of the improv I liked.
Sort of. I come up with a riff/section and then it takes me months to think of something that fits after. It's been like this ever since I first started writing music over six years ago

I'll try this. Maybe I'm just stuck because I'm approaching the next section like a problem I need to solve instead of dicking around until something good comes out.

I mean what i've found to be good is to show friends and get real life feedback. It usually brings more ideas if you have someone to talk to it about.
hiddensongs.bandcamp.com
New demos up now, the last work i put up on here, someone recommended that I should make vaporwave... which is kind of the direction my music is going in. I figure, if i can corner the bandcamp market, and ''trick'' them into listening to my more experimental leaning work by filtering it with the right aesthetics it may be really great. Id like to distill that influence into a pefected style
any thoughts? (I critiqued a lot last thread i posted, but not much feedback). I start to worry, because if even Mu isnt into it, then maybe its a bad sign?
>Vapor-y, Synthesizer, 80's Teenager Core, Post Punk Influence
Keep it up man, I really like it! It's got the cool kind of aesthetic I go for but you sound like you've perfected what you're going for. The vocals are pretty cool and fitting too, it's got kind of a OMD kind of vibe to it all.
I've listened to this twice in a row now, I really really like it. If you ever want to collab on something, I'm . I think we're both kind of going for the same sound.
Thank you, I appreciate your listen! That means a lot :O
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark? I havent listened to them, but ill definitely check them out
how do i get early access codes for the album i made? i want to give them to my friends
i think you have to save it as private and then request codes? im not sure honestly.
Thx so much! I like your work as well. You can contact me from my bandcamp page, if you do want to get in touch about a collaboration at some point! Im always open to that sort of thing, and your synth work is great, it reminds me of a soviet era 80s band. like this youtube.com

OK anyway, I think your beats are good. I like the production. But you drag them around for too long sometimes. Chillin has this problem imo; And Again and Korg have enough variety to keep me grooving until the end.
That said I don't really listen to hip-hop
Yeah i feel ya
imo for chillin i made it to be something i can listen to on the train to work so i can zone out but thats just me.
Thanks for the comment though brah~~~

Loved it. Uploaded on what.cd
>singer songwriter, melancholic, synths, groovy basslines, drum machines, lots of reverb, lots of love.
Feeling a BSMR vibe. I like the fuzzy production. Maybe it feels kinda messy on the progression, more like a collage of things rather than a song.
always loving your stuff
Downloading your stuff. I like your dylan-esque vocals.
This sounds really good. I love the drum machine sound, especially the kick. It seems you need some 808 in your life.
Huge rec here. Loving the guitars, this is the actual gazy sound I hope to hear. The vocals blend beautifully.
