You have 10 seconds to name ONE good screamo band
Pierce the Veil is the only one that comes remotely close to being "ok", not even good

this is literally dubstep tier
sempiternal by bring me the horizon is actually pretty good
>pg.99
>"dubstep tier"
BMTH are a legit great band. Count Your Blessings is great deathcore, Suicide Season was a refreshing change, There Is A Hell was their peak and blew evey other scene band out of the water, Sempiternal was a logical progression and had a nice atmosphere to it. The only bad part of their music is the incredibly bad lyrics. What did you think of That's The Spirit?
Piano becomes the teeth or something?
...
Does Killswitch Engage count? It's the only decent band that comes to mind when I hear the word "screamo". And by decent I mean music that doesn't make me want to stab my ears.
Not him but TTS was the best mainstream/radio friendly rock album I heard
And I agree with There is A Hell being their peak
Saetia
everything in the thread blows, try out some Circle Takes The Square
I Hate Myseld

God dammit this band was amazing.
I actually haven't listened to That's The Spirit yet. I wasn't that huge on their deathcore phase since I just really don't like deathcore and I thought stuff like Suicide Season was pretty alright. TTS is a more pop approach right? Is it actually good?
KSE is more metalcore
best post itt
Love them but I cant get into this album
>screamo
>good
>good screamo
>PtV
jesus christ
the right answer is snowing or rites of spring
Really? Everything they put out was great but I felt they didn't truly realize their sound until Crimes and Young Machetes.
this was the first cd I preordered
black sabbayh
>snowing
They'r midwest emo, there's no screaming
Lol there is no such thing as good screamo. I prefer to call bands their well deserved title "pussy punk".
Listen to some real metal for christ sake. Veil of maya, born of osiris, atb, etc...
Superb humor.
Wat?

NOT SCREAMO
I dont know how metalcore has to do with screamo or ptv but if you like veil of maya then you might actually dig dance gavin dance. Marc okubo and will swan are both great "heavy" songwriters.
Gospel is fucking garbage - don't let it turn you off of the genre.
Pic is essential
...
city of caterpillar and orchid are the best there
dude...what
a day to remember was the last band I got into before realizing a lot of my taste was simply not good (not due to Sup Forums or whatever disliking it, but due to me getting into it only to have a common interest with girls/cool guys)
literally the Cradle of Filth of the screamo scene. They used to not be able to play their material live and they were such assholes, they smashed justin pearson's window to show him their demo
emoe has shit taste and they never discuss good bands like the ones u posted
orchid of course

The Saddest Landscape
Yes very right.
Their album did not stand the test of time.
I agree emoe can be shit
The tripfags ruin it through their pretentiousness
In general it's alright though
not trying to come out as mean or insulting or anything but veil of maya and dance gaving dance have literally nothing in common. that being said, both are good bands, but holy shit no they're not comparable at all. veil of maya is deathcore/djent, dgd is post-hardcore with math rock -influences. study your scene goddamnit
ITT: Cancer runs amok
Cowboys become folk heros is my fav band desu
People discusses PoP and pg 99 literally every thread in emoe lmao.
lol rites of spring aren't screamo
>
it did tho
/thread
There are maybe three people in this thread who actually know what "screamo" means
"Music with screaming" =/= screamo
This,
Old Gray
Suis la lune
Frameworks
Mohinder
so good
is The Used screamo? What about Motion Picture Soundtrack?
Seconding Heroin. Gravity Records has a lot of hidden gems.
