Although George Clinton these days mixes up Parliment and Funkadelic, and bills itself as The P-Funk All Stars, if one were to go through the catalogue of both bands, Funkadelic were more rock and roll, and were guitar driven, while Parliment leaned more towards R&B and used a horn section on quite a few of their songs. In fact, many people prefer one band over the other, depending on their personal tastes in music. I happen to like both, equally.
