I know my last two albums have been pretentious pieces of shit, but I actually put work into this one. I'm pretty shit at mixing atm, but people didn't seem to care about garden of delete so I don't think its that much of a problem.
I appreciate feedback a whole bunch. Positive feedback, while useless, really makes me feel nice about my music so i like getting that too.

a very nice acoustic album, what can i say that hasn't been said? spooky, spooky and dark. I really like Prison where i belong very nice, not the biggest fan of the drum samples, but still good.
Hey, just put up an EP. I'd love a critique on any of my music. I'm gonna go smoke a spliff and come back to check out yalls stuff. If you want any feedback I can return the favour.
How did any of you get into making music? Is it easy? I've been hearing music in my head for almost 3 years now and I want to start producing it.
Julian Long
I've been playing guitar for 9 years and finally all the "neat melodies in my head" have started bubling over until I can't ignore it.
Logan Howard
Do you play anything besides guitar? The stuff in hear in my head are full songs. Different genres, instruments, etc.
Jason Wilson
any bossa nova esque stuff or am i asking the group
Christopher Torres
no, but the music I write is just guitar stuff but the point wasn't really the instruments the point was there comes a point where your musical creativity just boils over and you either do something about it or suffer
expat is a good name. i know this sounds mad hypocritical considering my track, but be careful with digital effects. too much flange/phase type stuff on a voice makes it unenjoyable. ultimately, ur making pop for urself that u enjoy hearing so its whatever. ur songs are pretty cool
this is a sold at starbucks album. ur making big boy music
word. u don't make music until ur in constant pain and guilt from not making music. u gotta think about music and how ur not doing it every second of the day. and when u start, making music shouldn't be easy. unless ur making "noise/drone/ambient/experimental" music. then just practice giving urself tags on bandcamp and posting in bandcamp threads to get ignored. it's a learning process and u gotta beat urself up odee over it. dont focus on perfecting a track tho, when u get a quality of sound that is passible, focus on finishing your ideas and banging out the track and moving on to the next one, otherwise ur not gonna know what to do when u reach that step. don't use one idea and close up shop early on ur track but don't jam too many ideas in one song and exhaust it.
Wow, this is great. I was worried when I saw how 60's theme was pretty heavy because I tend to not like things that have a nostalgic vibe. But fuck, you're a really good singer. And couldn't figure out what I thought chord change erotica sounded like but that's a pretty damn good description. Great Job dude. Solid use of the slidy wood block thing.
Thanks, it took me forever but I'm happy with a name. I'm an Irish citizen who only moved her a few months ago. But I was born and raised in Bermuda and they won't allow me to be Bermudian beauce my parents are both Irish and. I went to College in America before dropping out too. So I've always been an expat, weird how long it took me to think of the name.
Fair enough. Yeah, I went a bit maximalist on the old channel strips. I figure, less restraint on the EP to figure out what works and reduce to the best on the LP. I've got a bunch of Pop songs written but all the recordings don't sound good to me since they're really for a three piece and I don't have my bass here or real drums.
I dig your song and I dig your art. I think you definitely have a more tasteful use of the vocal effects.

Does anyone want to make music with me? I was thinking of doing what AnCo did by like exchanging music they've made, adding onto each others then sending it back. If anyone thinks this is a good idea tell me and send me a link to your bandcamp and Ill message you and stuff. This is mine: requiemforvenus.bandcamp.com/
Obligatory post that you're great and this album is great. Just bought it, keep making great stuff friendo. New song is really nice and dreamy. Lookin forward to whatever more you got comin up. Damn those are some juicy melodies son, I absolutely love that type of 60's pop. Most of those songs really sound like they could have come straight off some of the post-Pet Sounds Beach Boys albums (the good ones though, like Sunflower and Surf's Up). I love it love it. Oh, and cool Elephant 6-ey type experimentation on The Winds.

Metal Machine music was alright. I like it more in concept and it's mythology more than the actual music. I've listened to it in its entirety twice and it's not my thing. Not, if you can find a copy of Zeitkratzer's orchestrated version of Metal Machine Music, that's something worth listening to.

Claire, if you're reading this post, thank you very much, glad you're enjoying the album Same to everyone else who has payed money for whatever reason
Thank you a bunch for supporting man, means a lot. Make your music 'name your price' so I can return the favor, seriously (I don't think I said it or not but a couple weeks ago I was legit about to buy 'Sweaters' but I couldn't) This stuff is pretty neat - after listening to The Diving Bell and In The Cabin By the Ocean I went back and listened to Sun Glitter. If I had to pick I would say I like the synthy sounds in SG more than the rock aspects of the other two tracks but they were all good. Nice progressions, nice build up, cool aesthetic I didn't know if I liked this until the vocals/vocal samples came in. But by the second half of Empty Room I was absolutely jamming. Just the way the whole song is cut together is really really fun and awesome to me. Also listened to Doll House and enjoyed the hell out of that too, great minimalist vibes. Great great catchy stuff. Gonna keep listening I remember enjoying Oceanography way back in the day but I hadn't listened to Sleep Weather until now. Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of trap or trap beats... this is an interesting twist though. Definitely nailed the whole 'cheery' description, and with the elemental mix that's going on here I can definitely say that stylistically this is pretty much unique to anything I've ever heard before. I generally enjoy lo-fi stuff quite a bit, but the way this is recorded it's really, really lo-fi... which makes it even better. Has a great poppy sound but also an ambiance to it, and I love the way the vocals are reverb heavy and suppressed into the mix. Really shoegaze-y and beautiful.
