My Dad listens to punk music of the past and buttpunk of recent years that his friends recommend to him.
He worked at a record store for years and played in the East Coast punk scene throughout the 70s and 80s, and he still has some very entry level taste. Which is even weirder, because I helped sort through his massive CD and LP collection when he moved once, and he had tons of cool shit in there.
