If i could listen to that album for the first time again...

anyone got a link?

There, I am. One minute in and I feel existential horror already at the thought that some people willingly subject themselves to this unimaginative 'unique' progression-less mess the likes of which I last heard when I fed my raw HDD partition directly into my Linux's audio output.

haha if you don't like this you probably have awful taste

>you probably have awful taste

As with most insults, such as 'autistic', this one too necessarily begins to sound as a compliment just by virtue of the context it's used in.

You sound so smart dude.

a lot of words to say nothing

So do people outside of RYM and Sup Forums even know about this album? I mean somebody on a shoegaze binge could find it but otherwise this is criminally unheard of.

Fucking Andres

The first time I listened to this, I was at the peak of a nice acid trip. Probably the best experience musically for me so far.

This album is scary goooood.
I don't know why it's not popular outside Sup Forums

Wtf it kicks ass so far

Their second album is unfortunately kinda uninteresting. But V:D:C is fantastic.

>kinda uninteresting
>dat great pop songwriting
>dat little touch of experimentation to keep it interesting
>he didn't fall in luv with that qt's voice

I loved V:D:C for the glitch and constant experimentation with hints of catchy pop. I don't like it the other way around. And her vocals were too much in focus suddenly, which I feel puts the shoegaze genre to shame. It needs to be part of the instrumentation, not the focal point.

is there any albums similar to this? I've been listening to this album a lot lately

Wow this guy must be a genius

listen to their two other albums, you wont be disappointed.

World's End Girlfriend comes to mind.
Also Mikgazer vol1

their debut album was kind of weak, but YWNKW is fantastic

>flowers (354)
lisa>>>>>>>>>anyone else
get some taste my man

when will this album be considered mu/core or is it just not popular enough to be Sup Forumscore

I don't want it to be Sup Forumscore or meme on, why would you?

I feel like you guys will like this

Have any link? Not on yt apparently

from the archive:
ミラクルミュージカル - Hawaii: Part II (2012)
>An album resembling a musical, hopping from various genres throughout, a great album considering it's almost unknown
>Disclaimer: It's not japanese, and there's no Hawaii Pt. I

Thanks user, im on my phone

great album

it kinda board me on one listen. Maybe should give it another listen. YWNKW was good thou

This post just happened except with ITCOTCK, is this a
N E W M E M E?

This is pretty neat. Not seeing the relation to the OP album, but I'm digging it.

Backstory about the artist/band? Sound really good to me.

Sounds*

I feel the exact same way OP, but the album is getting real popular on Sup Forums recently. It could soon break into Sup Forumscore IMO.

It used to be way more popular. Neat if it's getting hype again though.

Rec more similar stuff, those of you who can, please

you could have just said 'no you', faggot

This album is fucking sick, more like this please

I'm about to listen to it for the first time brb

No I 'couldn't', I specifically wanted to mention popularity, nonexclusivity, necessity, graduality, and inchoativity of the phenomenon.

Finished it fuck was it amazing

wew lad.

this is one of my favorite albums ever. its so fucking good. jesus. its soooo good.

At least get to the second song, fucker.

I'm so sorry, knowing how short and similar 'songs' in such genres are, I just assumed that I was already in the fourth or fifth one by the first minute...

Good lord the second track is straight shoegaze. Stop being a bitch and listen.

>cheap synths with guitar distortion tacked on
>omgg so dreamyy

I like lots of IDM shit but this album is p. boring and harsh to me.

shit maybe I should hear it again tho, track 3 is lush as fuck

honestly this
the synth tones in this sound incredibly dated, if you've ever listened to any """idm""" that fact renders it pretty much unlistenable due to how generic it sounds

that was me
yw

so, rec something better, more original?

fuck you if you dont

on my first listen thru

my mother passed away yesterday & this music makes me smile

thanks anons, all love :^)

> nice acid trip.
Don't you mean a Sweet Trip?

If your mother just died yesterday and the first thing that made you smile since then was this mediocre album, you're a horrible person.

Not him but Bola - Fyuti
Jega - Variance
ISAN - Lucky Cat
Kamikaze Deathboy - Cure for Insomnia

*deadboy

this album is absolute ucking spectrum porn with the fast cutting synths and sweeps and everything

naw my dog made me smile first, d/w. just nice to find music i aint heard.

good zing though user, very wacky humor you got!

Thank you for sharing these, I'm so fucking sick of people praising this mediocre piece of shit as if it's the most revolutionary thing that's been released within the last 20 years.

The second track is the best

Nah, it's all about that Fruitcake and Cookies.

And here comes the contrarian backlash.

The cycle is complete.

>people don't like something you like
>hurr durr contrarian
It's been pretty well established that V:D:C is mediocre

easily the best shoegaze of the 2000s, name anything better

Maybe if you listened to something other than basic bitch Sup Forumscore, you'd understand why this album is nothing special.

Most people disagree.

w e w

Well established doesn't mean vapid labels guy.

Explain how the synths on here are any more dated than any other IDM of that time and why this dated sound is necessarily a bad thing

>Well established doesn't mean vapid labels guy.
Your mom's a vapid labels guy.

savage af bruh

aaaand this is why I said this: goddammit, close this thread

as you wish

This.
