Hey guys, Im new to pc building and Im planning to build a budget gaming rig.
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($209.99 @ Newegg Canada) Motherboard: MSI - B350M GAMING PRO Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($101.99 @ Amazon Canada) Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($131.31 @ Newegg Canada) Storage: Seagate - BarraCuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($56.99 @ Amazon Canada) Case: Fractal Design - Define Mini C with Window MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon Canada) Power Supply: SeaSonic - S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($64.99 @ Newegg Canada) Total: $665.26
I mainly plan on using this build to play Dota 2. I do have a bit of concerns though, as far as I can tell, Dota 2 is a much more CPU dependent game. I'm wondering if the CPU power of the Ryzen 5 2400G will be able to offer steady and smooth FPS during heated moments in game. I have no doubt that the integrated graphics will make everything look pretty.
I'm mainly looking for 720p, 60 FPS, and at least medium to high settings on Dota 2.
Any one have any thoughts or criticisms about my build?
