,
Yo this is really cool, thanks man
Didn't realize Sweden had such a prominent prog-rock scene
Spirogyra is great, thats one of my favorite albums
St. Radigunds is good aswell, have you heard that?
I wonder why 13th Floor Elevators aren't talked about much when it comes to 60's psych rock, they're definitely underrated
yeah no we were real cool back in the day
i threw this chart together a year or so ago, most of it is pretty great, check it out
*pees on u*
Do you like anything form Spain? I like Neuronium
The 90's called they want their jokes back
Please hurry they'll break my legs mon
Yeah, I just love Madame George
I have, it's just as good
They've been talked about to death imo
that's why you don't see them talked about much anymore, not much more to say
I think they're pretty rated, anyone into psych acknowledges the importance of their music, especially The Psychedelic Sounds of The 13th Floor Elevators in reference to the beginning of the psych scene
hey thanks for that, nice song
might give If Sadness Could Sing a listen to later
I suppose you're right, but it doesn't seem like they have much mainstream influence or relevance outside of the psych scene itsself. Like, I always see people talking about The Zombies, Pink Floyd, Beach Boys, Love, Cream, Kaleidoscope, Hendrix, The Doors etc. But if you ask someone what the pinnacle of psych rock was in the 60s they probably won't say 13th Floor Elevators
How's it going dad
Can we get takeout tonight?
Much appreciated man, definitely check these out in time
i think youve worn out the dad thing
especially since its directed at acre 90% of the time
I-I'm sorry :( I was just pulling his leg :(
Haha I don't mind it myself

I don't think a lot of people would say 13th Floor Elevators
I wouldn't, their influence isn't anything to scoff at, nor is their music
And if we're being honest, 13th Floor Elevators were slightly more obscure / less well marketed / more experimental than the guys you listed
so I wouldn't expect people that are outside the scene to acknowledge them or even know of them
flux of pink indians - uncarved block
>wtf
>you acknowledged a rec
>is that the first time?
hehe no but I often just forget to make a reply; sorry about that
I also have a tendency to post my collages later in the evening right before I go to bed as well
anyway, some nice guitar work on the first track, overall good but it just felt a bit too short
second track was good too, I really digged those vocals
third track is probably my least favourite of the three, but I still enjoyed it
that's it for tonight now though I'm afraid, it's midnight here and I'm getting very sleepy now
but I'll check the rest of the links out tomorrow morning
goodnight all
