Found a nice collection of used Mount Eerie records I'm pretty happy about

ayyy Parquet Courts

ayyy what's that 7 inch?

It was put out by a local band called Primary Colours

listened to some of eddy current suppression ring, it's surprisingly good. Sunday's Coming is just a solid punk rock song

thought it was funny the album is called primary colours

My favorite record store is closing next month, but I was surprised to find these reissues and had to drop money on an impulse.

What store? Other music?

Yeah.

>buying music

Animal collective's post on Instagram made me sad

...

Wow so no one buy CDs anymore?

Nice areola colored vinyl

i'm broke.

Right cause buying vinyls is cheaper than cds...

This. Are you guys mentally ill or something?

The seven at the top were £3 each, the rest were £1 each. The Miles Davis is one of those Mastersound SBM 24kt gold CDs.

bump

>Alive 1997
Sweet

Is that Live in Copenhagen? nice

Yeah I was so excited when I saw it at the store, they had basically every mount Eerie release in the used section so I just chose three I had to have

super furry animals fucking suck

>Thief
Great film, that vault scene is stunning

Local record store owner advised me to come in last week on the day he restocks. I'm glad I did. I also picked up a copy of DSOTM and Umma Gumma for a friend.

Human performance sounds really good on vinyl

Yeah it does, how does that doom sound?

nah
it was my birthday about a month ago so i splurged on a shitton of stuff

Pretty tight all around the production sounds okay at some points

>cardiacs

I spent over $150 on those 3 records and have 0 regrets

How does this make u feel

...

>cardiacs

>cardiacs
coma yourself

almost forgot cardiacs were a meme here

Barenaked Ladies. On vinyl. Alright then.

Hey, that's been one of my favorite albums since it came out like 18 years ago now. I've owned like 4 different copies on CD. Of course I'm going to buy the vinyl reissue.

The Ulver reissue is pretty good

How and why did you get four different CDs of Barenaked Ladies? Do you need one for each room of the house?

I also got Wax Museum's self-titled release on vinyl. This was the picture I took the day though. All CDS were $3 a piece. They had some other stuff I wanted to look though, but I had a long drive home.

they've all gotten lost or scratched up over the years

BNL were a great band once u shit

...

still can't believe people like this shit over isn't anything

>dat boredoms

memest album of all time

Is it the original release?

Yup

...

Grabbed these bad boys yesterday

That's seriously depressing

How can you live with yourself knowing that you will grow out that type of music within a year or so?

and what type of music are you even referring to here

...

i love Cardiacs man, do you have Sing to God on vinyl?

>vinyls

holy fuck where did you find Psychic...Powerless for that cheap?

considering I tend to pay $3-$15 when I buy older stuff yes it can be cheaper

Nah but I'll get it eventually. desu post-sax Cardiacs just doesn't do as much for me, though it's still great obviously

OLAITS is the one i need to get next

great taste friend

gimmie devo

It can be if you buys stuff used. Although used CD will almost always be less than used vinyl.

I am and I love that a lot of people going into record stores overlook used CDs. You can find some great stuff for $1-3 normally. I went to Nashville about a year and a half ago. The prices on vinyl, new and used, was way higher than what I was used to paying back home. Every store I went to had a great selection of used CDs. I think I came home with only 5 records (most of it being Nashville local stuff, one being from Third Man just cause), 2 tapes, and about 18 CDs. The CDs cost way less than the vinyl.

>memeing this hard

>Sing To God vinyl is like 50 queenbucks

Fucking kill me senpai

What

pretty much any of their albums in decent shape is gonna cost you that much

loveless is such a boring piece of shit but isnt anything is actually a pretty solid album

It's the official price at their webstore

I need to see them live again so I can buy their latest LP's for cheap
Last time saw them was Sunbathing Animal tour, smoked joints out back with the band after the show :3

Good shit. I need to get Apocalypse, it's probably my favorite post-Smog album by him.

i could only get the black yellow sold out already

>Not Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle
Just kidding it's all fantastic.

Duuuuuude nice choice pickin up We Cool?! Was it it a blind buy or what were your thoughts on it?

I hadn't heard much of it before I bought it, but Dream River was my aoty 2013. Kicking myself for not exploring his discography sooner, Drover is ace but Dream River is still my favorite I think

I'm eager to hear new material from him, he should be due for a new album soon I would think

He needs to do another album with Jim O'Rourke producing.

f.y.e.
if it makes any difference, the cd was stuck to the booklet, and the booklet stuck to the jewel case. i got them apart, but i have no idea how they got stuck together, as they didn't seem sticky afterwards.

Got the box set also recently

That's it, I bought MoFi sleeves on Sleeve City. Now I gotta wait 5 months for them to come because I live in another hemisphere

Nice.
Danzig really needs to reissue the Samhain catalog.
