Best Killing Joke album by far. Total fatalistic doomsday vibes.
It was at like 280 something and slowing down.
>no spinning

>dance
Love like blood is probably my fave from that album
Great track. Great smoke break track too. Really stands out in a mix enough to keep everybody busy if I disappear.
>suburban dystopia movie: the band

The whole album is great, they did a great job at refining their sound and toning down its harshness without actually losing any impact.
Bringing it down a little

Old Yugoslavian D-beat/crusty shit. /dark/ as hell. Unbelievable guitar sound, shit sounds like black metal at times.
So hilarious and repugnant and ridiculously unnecessarily edgy you can't help but love it.
Saw old Nick the Stripper live last summer, this encore:

cheesetasticness

This is tight as hell, any similar reccs?
Different vein, but more Yugoshit
youtube.com
how's Nick live?
Blew me the fuck away. One of the best shows I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of shows. The lighting is just gorgeous. It was auditorium seating, Nick was climbing over the first 20 rows the whole set. He was obviously forgetting lines in the couple of MB songs they did and adlibbing, which was charming, like we were all in this shit together.
Very short set for a full-on-buy-tickets concert, but so worth it.
Nice, I've always wanted to see him live.
I DAREEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUU
bauhaus are a best
Absolutely do first chance you get. So great.

Fuck yes, Earth A.D./Wolf's Blood was the Misfits' pinnacle IMO.
Nice
I agree, I can never get tired of listening to it.

MSG's pretty great. Wish we had such good playlists in the states. The Elvira Halloween Specials would play pretty good stuff at least, and edited, interrupted weirdness like Alien Sex Fiend on Beavis and Butt-head occasionally.

>Filth Pig
I really dug that live video that they did during that era.
You are my afro american bro! Even posted Europe. Let's have sex.
Really love this track. Makes me picture grainy 8mm footage of some cul-de-sac with the leaves starting to fall and a black rotting house at the end with slime and tenticals coming out of it

There's a Shaye Saint John thread over there

>best bauhaus song not nerves
the intro might be a little long, but the song is GOAT
youtube.com
y'all should check out this. post-punk with a deathrock vibe and female vocals
K, now there's a Nick Cave hate thread. You guys all as worn out as I am at this point? Are we leaving room for people who will post whatever they have to to get a response regardless of whether it's meaningful or not?
listen to this if you haven't already.
A lot of that early Memphis shit reminds me of the 90s death and black metal tape trading scenes, both in how fucked up-sounding a lot of it is and the method by which it got distributed.
Onyx's 2nd album is my go-to /dark/ rap though.
youtube.com
Total Control are great.
God Tier industrial right there.

jesus is that really him? he looks like dog shit.
jej
Nigga Creep is great
Anyone have any recommendations for something like Bauhaus but just more aggressive? Bauhaus is nearly my perfect band, I just want it a little angrier
youtube.com
The build up in this song is great
My coworker calls Three Six Mafia "goth hop" so I guess so
he looks even worse than that
I think you might like this, as well as early Killing Joke. Very aggressive spiky post-punk.
dat video tho
Christ, it looks like a giant, sapient condom trying to imitate Robert.
Holy keks
Hey guys just woke up, how's every one.
tricky is much more /dark/ in the sense that he associates his music with post punk. it's much more romantic too

Lucifer has some quality work. Too bad she's disappeared off the face of the planet.
Where do I start with Siouxsie?
I need more Dark Electro / Electro-Industrial / Aggrotech / Futurepop / EBM that isn't just generic shit copying each other.
I don't see these types of threads very often
Anyways, anyone else heard Catholic Spit or can recommend artists that sound like them?
I don't know if it counts, but I like AFI. Anything similar out there?
>Dark Electro
Xeno & Oaklander
>Aggrotech
ESA
Prometheus Burning
Pneumatic Detach
Terrorfakt
>Futurepop
Moev
Apoptygama Beserk
>EBM
E-Craft
Straftanz
Thanks so much!
>finally get goth gf
>she doesn't look like this
Damn it. Cucked again
np, Misfits were a big influence on AFI.
how does one go about finding a goth gf
never heard of them, but this is awesome. thanks for sharing
I found her on /soc/. They have threads for finding people where you post charts like pic related.
I got really lucky to be honest. She replied to me.
Basically, go to /soc/ and wish really really hard.
holy shit what this is a thing?
You've really never seen these?
Do you go to other boards user?
They're usually posted on /r9k/, Sup Forums, and /soc/.
Good for finding people with your specific interests and tastes.
Is this the right place for this?

bruce springsteen /dark/ edition
Spooky.
Yeah, I love all of their songs.
I'm having a hard time finding more like this but I'm happy they exist.
If you like them you should check out Fangs On Fur and Christ vs Warhol.
>dark electro
>Xeno & Oaklander
Dark electro is yelworC, Placebo Effect, Individual Totem
Recommend me something like Goethes Erben
