I'll let you know

That's not the Debian logo

Nice Amazon OS logo OP

Actually, that is the one distro I dropped recently.

when it becomes rolling release

Surely you mean Xubuntu, right OP? It's Ubuntu without the bloat, glorious XFCE, and no Amazon botnet.

Debian unstable African botnet edition

DEs are bloat.

Autism speaks

I love Arch Linux because I can customize it to how I like it

>makes you kys

If you don't like bloat you could just use a window manager.

16.04 lts

just use a installer like zen installer

Aaand if you dont, that just proves you are a Chad

>freetard logic

Tried it recently because it looked like my soundcard was working in 16.04, but it was shit in the following ones again.

Since then I figured out how to unfuck it pulse config files, so I'm back to Debian stable.

>muh rolllypolly
do you really think you benefit from insignificant incremental updates generated by some literal basement dwellers?
like you even need "bleeding edge" lmao

That's not OpenSUSE

Gnome sucks

You're not a true freetard if you use Debian instead of gNewSense/PureOS

I'm a man of deep thought and foresight, so I never departed from Ubuntu.

outdated packages, broken isos. don't bother

Years ago.

GNOME is now the default DE, at this point i think Manjaro is better

idk i never used nieche distros
it just works and does less shady shit that canonical
suse is an acceptable option too, i just find leap a bit too out of date and tumbleweed a bit too unstable for me.

I personally like having up to date software and don't need the possible stability benefit that point releases give.

My man

post your panel.conf

Wrong pic

You'll catch on eventually.

>incremental updates generated by some literal basement dwellers
Clueless, the post.

Opensuse relevance on desktop is almost zero, no offense.

stupid man

that portion has been removed, right guis?

Hello, I'm an ex-Kubuntu/Ubuntu/Xubuntu user. I thought Ubuntu-based distros were the best because they are popular and because of debian legacy.

I was so damn wrong.

After Kubuntu and KDE Neon failed to me for the 1000 time, I tried pic related and I'm currently using it since November.
It's like the best distro ever made so far.
Lot of people are afraid of Linux distros because they fear the terminal commands and nothing more. In Manjaro I don't need a single motherfucking bash script or terminal command. It's all already set and ready to start to do something productive.

Some of the best features on Manjaro that has better than Ubuntu are:

> Rolling-release Distro. I don't need to reinstall my OS every 6 months.
> Updated and stable packages.
> Pacman is godtier.
> I can use AUR
> The right software is already installed on the distro (LIbreoffice, etc.)

No, it's garbage. Don't use this

Prove it.

>so far.
That's what we all said before ditching Manjaro. It will bite you in the ass eventually.

I installed Manjaro on my ThinkPad and fucking hated it.

>Closing the laptop lid caused some retarded screen issue, managed to fix it
>Installed the most recent (((proprietary))) GPU driver, somehow installing catalyst fucked Whisker menu, and it lost my config
>Graphics performance somehow managed to be worse
>Uninstall and reinstall free drivers
>Things seemed ok
>Few days later random crash while Pacman -Syu
>Have to hard reset as nothing is doing anything
>Whoops looks like it somehow managed to corrupt lightDM and I have a cli only system now
>Use LiveUSB to recover light DM, recovery and repair seems to go well reboot
>Whoops looks like grub is now fucked and how have no OS on your system

And that's when I reinstalled Xubuntu.

Fuck Manjaro. If you're going to make a "just wurks" distro, make it actually work.

The king of what? Shitty distroland?

That's not windows XP

im going to replace it with gentoo soon. its already installed on my laptop.

...

He's right
Bullshit.

I run ubuntu LTS on pretty much every machine I own.

hows the performance on that thing? chrome is not a light browser.

Surprisingly a fuck ton better than firefox. It's very smooth.

I already returned to Debian :^)

>glorious xfce
only if you can solve this:
forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=6440

I had to switch to i3 for this reason and became autistic as a result.

>Uptime: 2 mins

>have no icons on the desktop
>the king
K

>A million of flies can't be wrong!

Sorry, is this better?

Who on earth uses TrueOS

Install nightly to reduce titlebar's size.

Im sick of seeing you everywhere

"
The DistroWatch Page Hit Ranking statistics are a light-hearted way of measuring the popularity of Linux distributions and other free operating systems among the visitors of this website. They correlate neither to usage nor to quality and should not be used to measure the market share of distributions. They simply show the number of times a distribution page on DistroWatch.com was accessed each day, nothing more."

Apparently distrowatch.com visitors. I don't even know what that site is good for.

lost me with that horrible Unity DE

Too late, now I found someone else.

I did.

They changed it to Gnome.

No.

...

I know, but as I said, too late

that's not debian stable

Why use stable on the desktop?

openSUSE is annoying. Zypper is awesome, but the repos are small, and if you add anything unofficial you inevitably get conflicts when upgrading.

stop shilling ubuntu.

Because it's stable

Yeah, it's why I went back to Windows 10.

When qt-based unity8 will finally replace gtk-shit. Oh, wait.

Any distros that work with almost every type of hardware like optical drives?

After installing Debian took half a day, just to leave me with coil whine (and no sudo installed :) )

So fucking cliche
Change your background and get a more interesting wm theme.

holy shit thats so fucking ugly. at least rice properly you mong.

>prove it
Pay me. What the fuck, do you think an Internet argument with you is worth my time? I'm not here to entertain you.

It's sad being a fucker like you is not against the rules because I'd gladly report you.

Window managers are bloat, use lynx and vim you lazy man

Why do you deny science?

You tell me

Not yet, so far I'm very happy with Antergos.

Two-three year old software with no updates is stable? Is retarded on desktop.

I'll return to "the king" when Ubuntu switches to Cinnamon.

Kill Gnome everyday.

I'm happy with Mint.

CentOS is spelled wrong

youtu.be/VUJMFNtNNKs

Clover is actually pretty nice, but this picture thats posted all the time makes it seem like DegeneracyOS

...

this...

>return to the king
sounds about right.
pic related:
It's the king

Never wavered. But

Enjoy your ancient kernel.

linfo.org/kernel_version_numbering.html

Litereally
R click panel > Panel > Panel Preferences
>untick "lock panel" > grab left or right edge of panel > move.

& that didn't even need a teminal open, sudo, nano or xorg.conf....

>he has his loli hentai as his wallpaper...

Look at the size of his BALLS!

Enjoy your down syndrome.

> Doesn't know what stable means.

I mean, do you really need all the new features of your apps? I only need the last Firefox and youtube-dl when I think about it.

This.

Also you can simply set up your software to be downloaded from the testing/unstable repositories and leave the others to be downloaded from the regular stable ones.

Nice font rendering
