What are the records in this frame? Mainly the one that sais "Lli" (?) and the yellow-black sleeved.

Come on neo Sup Forums, show that you don't suck.
The one that looks like it says "Lli" is Lifelike by Ui
Yeah just found it via reverse search, damn typeface.
Here's what I recognize
>Patti Day - Love Crazy
>Some random Next Plateau Records release
>Tortoise - TNT
>Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic
>Ui - Lifelike
>Spacemen 3 - The Perfect Prescription
>Silver Jews - American Water
The one with the chess pattern is The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys
No dice on the yellow one though. Not like this'll help any, but it's apparently in the "T" section, so that's what the artist's name starts with.
Most of those are pretty easily legible, but thanks anyway.
Neat, thanks.
I wouldn't count on it, there's quite little rhyme or reason with shelves, they contain pretty random stuff (though that shelf does seem to have a leaning towards post rock-ish type of stuff).
Also the one sticking out of the far right corner there that says "red" is definitely Red Apple Falls by Smog
Also I know I've seen the yellow cover before, I think it might've been like a fusion/funk record from late 70s, but no quarantees.
Cool, good job
>Red
Laibach - Nova Akropola
>Green
Asobi Seksu - Self-Titled
>Blue
Sow - Sick
Let's have another frame too. Points of interest: the record in the back to the left of The Yes Album, and the b/w one on the foreground.
You fucking kidding me? Can you seriously tell those?
>there's quite little rhyme or reason with shelves
Well, Tortoise is right next to it, and behind it there's a little divider that says something "T" so it's a good bet it's got T in it
No fucking way
Still trying to figure out the yellow one
Another one. How about the four rightmost in the back?
>it's a good bet it's got T in it
If you actually look at the rest of the shelves it's almost entirely random so I still wouldn't make that bet. Appreciate your effort though.
>You fucking kidding me? Can you seriously tell those?
No, but they look pretty similar
other than the obvious ones I see Índia by Gal Costa on the wall
Leftmost in the back is Tropicalia ou Panis et Circencis
>Isaac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul
>Nick Drake - Bryter Layter
>Deep Purple - Made in Japan
>John Coltrane - Expression
>Cat Stevens - Teaser and the Firecat
>Iron Butterfly - In-aGadda-da-Vida
>Index - The Index
>King Crimson - Discipline
Getting the obvious ones...
On the back wall:
>Miles Davis - Let's Get it On
In the foreground:
>Nick Drake - Bryter Layter
>Deep Purple - Made in Japan
The "RX" sticker on the wall is a Royal Trux sticker
These are fun btw
>Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
>Index - The Index
(weird version of the cover though, it's usually black)
>King Crimson - Discipline
Well done!
Most of these obvious and easily identifiable but good to have them out there.
Here's also a close up of no. 2. Also any idea about the one to the left of the Coltrane? Or to the right for that matter.
Also why do they have sleeves of that Stereolab comp on the wall... the record itself was in the store at another location too.
fucking how
Another one, nothing really that I'm particularly "interested" in, but feel free to shout out any that you recognize because none of them look familiar to me...
I guess I'll just keep dumping these.
Bitches Brew in the back I think, don't recognize any others.
Lucinda Williams s/t is also there btw. Still trying to find that yellow one.
None of those are similar though, aside from color?
>similar
>identical
>(you)
>Prince - Around the World in a Day
on the lower left
By the way, what movie is this?
Not really a great film but worth watching for everyone who's a Sup Forums regular. >tfw and music obsession in one film.
>Jim O'Rourke - Bad Timing
>MC5 - Teenage Lust
Way in the back right is Bitches Brew
???
Ok last ones, I think most of the store shots were in the first half of the film and I don't feel like watching the whole thing just for this thread.
1/3
Aphex Twin and Big Black are given.
Actually 2/2, the last one isn't relevant.
Any idea of that one with white sleeve with the greenish circles?
I see diamond dogs there
Oh yeah you're right.
>Bad Brains - Quickness
I think I recognize the black-on-white cover in the shape of an apple, but not by name
Not sure what that one is, sorry. But I do see
>Brian Eno - Before and After Science
>Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Wew
I went full artist here and by playing with the perspective and skew in photoshop and drawing over the image with shapes and further perspective changes, I was able to recreate the album cover for reverse Google image searching.
Oh shit, right. The album is Turn On by Turn On, btw
>rateyourmusic.com
It's a Stereolab offshoot band or something
>tortoise TNT
Based set designers
Fuck, I was just doing the same. Nice recreation, and a nicer find! Def a post rock shelf then.
i no rite
Other people have said most of them, but the 3D looking one is Low Spark of High Heeled Boys by Traffic
Yee, I said it here Fun album btw
It was in the T section after all. Tortoise to the left, "T" tab behind indicating the end of the Ts, Steely Dan to the right in the next row.
on the left, top row
>Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
>Big Black - Racer-X
>Any idea of that one with white sleeve with the greenish circles?
No idea, but the one two to the right is Cat's Clause by The Germs: rateyourmusic.com
Made this for reverse searching, no luck so far.
Yeah I got nothing either
Thanks for the fun time btw. Was a good run
Likewise, thanks for the assistance.
