Andrew Jackson Jihad is a shit tier band but this album is incredible thematically, lyrically, and narratively. It takes itself seriously, and the each song is written as if the character is writing it in that moment instead of retrospectively (so the album begins with a lot of self pity and as the character grows and matures the songs do as well).
Its sad that due to the bands rep so many people skip over this one.
