>you are chosen as the person who will pilot a rocket containing humanity's last hopes for survival >on board this rocket are the last human embryos which are in stasis >this rocket will take 500 years to reach its destination >after launching, you are granted one album which will play while you are in space, watching earth in its distant glory as it slowly gets smaller >after this album finishes, pressure in the rocket will be adjusted and you will die painlessly and instantly
Which album do you pick, Sup Forums?
Keep in mind there's no food or water on the rocket so if you pick a meme album which lasts over a week or something that you'll likely have a worse off death.
wait why do i die in that rocket? also why only one album?
Hunter Turner
I'd pick one of those 1000 year long Bull of Heaven albums and not die
Aaron Miller

Carter Miller

Sebastian Russell

youtube.com/watch?v=PjAK1CAz7Io >It's too much, you're too late, I want to see it all again >She says, "Keep this benzene ring around your finger >And think of me when everything you wanted starts to end"
>And I saw living lusters form in pools beneath her feet >Invertebrates that only she can see >And I said, "What on Earth are all these ampules for?" >She says exactly, "We're not gonna wait around here anymore"
>Systems back down slow, watch the dust cloud we send >And I will keep you, I will keep you to the end >Set your head back low, watch my ears ring >I will take care of you, I will take care of everything
Or this, if only for >God is a place you will wait for the rest of your life
Oliver Green
Without a doubt. I saw someone else on here a while ago talk about how Hold On Magnolia is the best "watch the earth being destroyed" song, and I've been captivated by that since. This is basically the same deal.
Ian Gutierrez
this... I'd probably pick whatever album I had recently listened to for the first time.
I mean, I'd want a familiar album, but not too familiar like ITAOTS or Kid A
Aaron Baker
Thirukkural cos it lasts about 500 years and also I can live off of the love of Vishnu.
Logan Nguyen
say what you want, but i'm choosing the album that meant the most to me growing up
Austin Morgan
Fitting too
Gavin Bennett
This is a really difficult decision. I would want something that is somber enough to match the weight of the scenario but it has to end with triumphant joy or a peaceful acceptance. A few albums come to mind: Radiohead's The King of Limbs Deafheaven's Sunbather Sigur ros's Kveikur USA Out of Vietnam's Crashing Diseases and Incurable Airplanes, But I would have to chose >Frozen Niagara Falls by Prurient It's such an emotionally powerful album and I can't imagine spending my final moments in space any way but with a good, healthy cry. The stuff about Jesus at the end is also a really great closer for what would be an amazing act of martyrdom.

>as you drift away from earth for what will be the final voyage, you die sad yet content as "... My best friend" plays in the background,

Noah Moore
I wouldn't even make it to the end of the album, I feel as if I might be vanishing would probably make me commit suicide knowing that I am going to die anyway after the album ends.
Brandon Harris
I hope I die around Said the People

Jaxon Bell
but it gives you time to think and reflect on your own life inbetween moments of greatness rather than half an hour of not thinking about yourself at all
Isaac Stewart

Nicholas Jackson
