The earth and all its culture are about to be destroyed and you can save 5 albums for the remnants of humanity to build its culture upon on their new planet. Which 5 and why.

I save 5 copies of ITAOTS

If at least 3/5 of your list isn't classical then you're doing it wrong

I choose to save zero (0) music in any format.

Vaporwave so they could reminisce about the good ol' days

Why three from the same genre? Maybe two because of the wide variety of classical but this is to rebuild culture not to satisfy your music taste

The most significant advancements and musical achievements happened in classical. Don't forget that "classical" music includes 400 years worth of development. Everything else has happened in the last 100.

Honestly it should probably be four classical pieces and a jazz piece. But I'll be generous and say 3 classical, 1 jazz, and some kind pop/rock/electro something from the last 40 years I guess

To put rock and electro in the same category is a crime. 1/2 classical 1 jazz 1 rock/pop 1 electronic and maybe 1 blues/country/world music

each choice is for a different value

>human culture gets reduced to western culture
Lmao.
Western European Classical deserves one album at most!

Even though DSOTM and SFTD are great albums they aren't worthy of being saved when compared to other groundbreaking albums of the same/similar genres

Instead of 5 albums I'll take 50 x all star by smash mouth.

You can only take 5 though
