I see a lot of "essential winter albums" flow charts, but none for summer. So, with the season upon us, list some of your most summery albums

What album?
(On mobile, can't figure out how to reverse image search)
Aztec Camera- High Land, Hard Rain
The first two tame impala albums are quite summary albums
I would say more so innerspeaker but lonerism got a few summer songs
MPP is actually pretty summery
But Ride- Going Blank Again is extremely summery
...
...
>MPP is actually pretty summery
I've always associated it with Spring rain.

How fucking new are you, you faggot?
There's multiple summer charts you newfag ass pleb trashcan.
...
LantlĂ´s - Melting Sun
Sorry forgot to put name of album. Took the cover straight from google.
It's a metal album, but it is very different from Lantlos previous work. I always get a summer kind of vibe when i listen to it.
I also get a summer vibe from this album. If you're a fan of hip hop and MF DOOM check it out.
Late summer.
No it's not newfag.
...
that is one accurate chart
Excuse me?
Literal beachcore
Geeze, who pissed in your Cheerios?
Can you not read?
Good shit
i like this
...
No it's not.
Actually no, it's not "good shit". Also, "good shit" is an awful oxymoron. Try again imbecile.
perfect for summer afternoon / early evening
Okay you are acting really tense right now, so I'm gonna have to ask you to calm the fuck down.
I'm cool as a carrot. Don't project your butthurt onto me.
MPP
Strawberry Jam
Pet Sounds
98.12.28 Otokotachi no Wakare - Fishmans
is it just me or is this the perfect album for cruising through california on a summer evening, without a care in the world?
Well what provoked you to freak out on me like that?
What genre is it?
It's summer afternoon here and it sounds like it's the right time
>tfw you're intellectually superior to everyone else, so you can't help but get butthurt over the linguistic technicalities of a colloquialism that's been around for decades.
man you must have really dug for those
Lol, okay kid. I don't wear hats.
it's electroacoustic downtempo with some ambient influence
Did you realize I was quoting someone else who called Merriweather Post Pavilion summery? Still, that's no reason to freak out.
This is what he used.
>I don't wear hats
Doesn't debate the fact that he's still an douhebag regardless of what he puts on his head.
Hmmmmmm...
I'm not a douche bag.
also, from the few listens I've had, Coloring Book seems pretty summery
Solid argument, you got me there.
saved
Woah, where do you find this stuff?
SILY should be summer-night-core
>It was hot
>Not perfect for the beach
What
MPP and Lonerism desu
...
...
>posting the worst ratatat album
Snowing - fuck your emotional bullshit
Pic unrelated
>LP4
>the worst
>not LP3
Fuck man that freaked me out for some reason
Maybe I'm just high I don't know man
u wot?
Classics >LP3 > Ratatat > Magnifique > LP4
Ratatat > Classics > Magnifique > LP4 > LP3
LP4 isnt the best, but its not the worst either
Perfect for that "good times, going for a ride in the sun"-mood
Pretty good except for Geogaddi, that's more of an "autumn night innawoods" type of album
>tfw everybody is already talking about Summer when the most of the leaves are still starting to bloom where I live
...
late spring, early summer. it's still a little breezy, take a nice walk or bike ride
iktfb
really dig this album for sentimental summery reasons
Top of the list for me. Perfect roll-the-windows-down music.
My place was up in the high 80's most of last week.
>LCW
>Summer
>implying all its angst, melancholy, and trucking isn't perfect for autumn scenery
This. That album is perfect for cold weather.
Bro you're such a good memer
>Call And Response but not Seek Magic
>No LCW or Long Drive on the road trip chart
>No Elliott Smith
w e w
>not one Sufjan albums
Summer nights definitely
Fuck yeah Sufjan
Barely touched Illinois all winter but listened to it front to back today without even thinking about it. It's much better than I remembered.
In Rainbows is their best summer album for me with OKC as close second but I respect that choice too.
>Elliott Smith
For sure
Either/Or and Roman Candle are perfect for night-time drives through suburban back roads after everyone else has gone to sleep and you're the only one on the road
>Summer nights definitely
This one is summer nights. Feels has more of a late afternoon kind of vibe for me.
...
...
Feels is 100% Spring.
And Here Comes the Indian is 100% Summer day.
Jesus Christ.
...
>not classics above everything in every possible order
You're wrong, Feels is fallcore
>Feels is 100% Spring.
It feels like the transition from late summer into early fall. It starts out fast paced and upbeat, and becomes more mellow and serene, like the shifting season. It has this sort of aged quality about it. It definitely feels like the end of something, not the beginning.
Can already tell this album is going to dominate my summer.
It puts me in the best mood and makes me day dream about road trips. joy/10
UNDENIABLE
It's weird how people who are wrong always talk like what they're saying is the objective truth.
This album has such a unique atmosphere.
I wish it was the 90s again and the world just stayed that way forever.
...
>Feels
>Fallcore
Like who the hell even are you
>definitely feels like the end of something, not the beginning.
It is the ending of one thing and the beginning of another. That is literally the entire point of the entire album, and is literally spelled out to you in Turn Into Something. Get over your young Spring crush, and get ready for your summer love.
Feels is Spring. It begins hectic, with the rains of spring, allowing all the plants to grow back, and in the periods of sun between them, the flowers to bloom. This matches up wholly with the sudden rush of being in a relationship. Then stuff slows down, and the relationship falls apart, with a light drizzle accompanying that.
Turn Into Something is the summer rain reminding you there's still so much more you get to do in your life.
I need to listen to the rest of this record more.
If even half the songs grow on me like Cherry-Coloured Funk did then I'll be glad
Case in point
Just chilling in an air-conditioned house on a hot day.
Great album but wtf user, that's not fucking summercore. Summercore is light-hearted music with good vibes, upbeat tempo and happiness-inducing (or sing-along) lyrics.
Not an album with songs like Wish You Were Here and Welcome to the Machine about a psychotic band member who got kicked out of a band
GOAT summer shoegaze album
whats the meaning behind this album cover
>Three Cheers for Disappointment
>Streetlight Lullabies
Good chart desu
