Freeend - hoax
>experimental cloud rap
Solid album but perhaps the worst fucking cover art of all time.
>obscure albums
You start OP
>
Been here 4 years, never seen this album
All I've seen is that album they made with a trying-really-hard-to-be-early-60's-abstract cover that didn't end up being too good
>inb4 an album is obscure because I haven't seen it
An album isn't un-obscure because you know what it is, either
It's literally baby's first bandcamp
what does that even mean
are you trying to say 'Babby's first bedroom pop'? That would make a shit ton more sense
Im gonna dl it rn
Meaning it's one of those "staple" bandcamp albums if you will, everybody knows it. And no it doesn't have anything to do with Teen Suicide and yes Salvia Plath is a different band.
...
I fucking hate all those bands like teen suicide
THIS THIS THIS.
Everyone shits themselves over V:D:C, but I like this one much more.
honestly the better of the three albums they have put out, although everything they have done is pretty good.
youtube.com
only 20 minutes. Jonwayne's production is nice
thee michelle gun elephant - cult grass stars
basically the first 6 albums, only band for me to have god tier six streak
I think cgs has something to do with radiohead plz correct me if im wrong
Probably this
Little Kid- Logic Songs
it was good enough for me to download at one point, but i've since deleted it
Teen Suicide is awful
Yasuaki Shimizu- Kakashi
discovered this album a few days ago and i absolutely love it
Marshmallow Coast- Seniors and Juniors
Did it come up randomly in your YouTube suggestions? Cuz that's how I discovered it
Wync - Inhale
>rap

My brother.
I bought this on cassette for 5 bucks a little while ago. It even included a hand written thank-you note. I really hope they play in MA again soon.
been here maybe 1 year
seen it at least 3 times and also saw it on some other websites (reddit, etc)
stop lurking on kpop generals u waifag
nope but thats how i listened to it since it seems to be the only way to listen to it online
This isn't obscure. It was all over /shugazi/ like a year ago.
Yoko Ono - Yoko Ono / Plastic Ono Band
Mob - I Believe in You
and
Mob - And This Was a Good Day
Basically everything that Mob has put out. They're such a great band, especially if you like post-rock, noise rock, and shoegaze.
The Other Side of the Looking Glass by Alias
Don't know how obscure it is, but it doesn't seem to have a lot of discussion here
This one's my favorite R. Stevie Moore album. A lot more melancholy than most of his stuff. "I Need a Girl" and the jam sessions at the end don't really fit in with the rest of it, but Stevie's not exactly known for editing himself.
This is actually pretty good. Thoughts?
BADBADNOTGOOD - IV

You were watching Plantasia on youtube weren't you
Yeah but has anyone outside of Sup Forums ever heard about it?
ACAB Rocky
acabrocky.bandcamp.com
This is a decent album, I Was All Over Her is a really nice song. But the album seems to focus to much on making these ambient atmospheres that would work as interludes instead of actual songs, especially in the second half.
Love this album.
holy shit thanks, love this
Anyone have any cool obscure drone metal bands? I can only really have the list going on so far for it
thank you, have been looking for a good dl
thank you for more dope stuff
This isn't real, is it? Everywhere lists it as coming out in July.
its real. got leaked 3 months early but i can confirm its somehow real. there are leak threads on reddit
>Anything with more than 50 RYM ratings
>Obscure
Nope but I'll check that out now
You've never heard Plantasia by Mort Garson before just now? Well there is also Jean Michel Jarre's albums "Oxygene" and "Equinoxe"
youtube.com
youtube.com
as well as "The Well Tempered Synthesizer" by Wendy Carlos.
Opera Sauvage by Vangelis
"Music Inspired by Lord of the Rings" by Bo Hansson
"Ommadawn" by mike oldfield
great album, but is it really obscure? Everyone knows who Yoko is, even if they've never listened to her music.
this is very good, i feel like it's gonna start getting more attention now
Migrations in Rust - Two Shadows
...i'm new to low fi emo bedroom feels pop and salvia palth is one of the first bands on my radar, does this mean i'm doing it right
...
waxwitches.bandcamp.com
One of my favorite punk albums ever, shame the rest of his albums aren't nearly as good. Never seen it mentioned once on Sup Forums before
is this a obscure bandcamp circle jerk thread
yeah
...
haha oh my god i havent listen to this album in years
what a great fucking record though
>CASCADE
>KISSES
>CASCADE
>KISSES

Anyone else a fan of krautrock?

Oh shit, haven't heard this in a while. Shapes is my favorite track.
This album's really depressing so I don't really listen to it all that often, good tho

>you got your math rock in my sludge!
>you got your sludge in my math rock!
A rewarding listen if you ask me- there's a handful of callbacks as the album progresses, and the vocals are used in a super cool kinda way (apologies for my poor writing)
LISTEN
not obscure boyo
isn't she friends with grimes?
This album is on point
meh, it's alright
Popular in Sup Forums
Good album
Got it on cassette a while back :^)
ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
i dig this, thanks for posting
No prob, I am baffled this band never got any press.
>Babby's first bedroom pop
It's not bedroom pop. It's lo-fi shoegaze.
Sadly. She's signed by her so congrats to Nicole I've been following her since Columbine.
Honestly the only time I ever see this band discussed is when I try and start a thread on them an get no replies sadly
theres 1 mention of this in the archive that isn't me
do you know what obscure means?
shit album
>>>/tumblr/
they don't seem to be worth talking about my man
...They're amazing what are you talking about? They're just hella unknown
Dig - Dig
ohnoitsjank.bandcamp.com
fun pop-punk
Just found this yesterday under bedroom pop
youtube.com
oh shit, never thought i'd see this album on Sup Forums, but it is indeed a decent album considring i bought it for a buck at a flea market
...
One of my favorite downtempo/trip hop albums, criminally unknown.
OP here. Sorry to piss so many people off. I just haven't seen it mentioned anywhere and I really liked it. I didn't know so many people were familiar with it.
I always suspected you were a faggot
Fuck you. I'm not sure why it's such a big deal.
Silent Hill style stuff:

808 State's Don Solaris.
Most people know only Pacific 202. Don Solaris is oft overlooked, which sucks massive balls.

oooooone day i willlll get drunk and text youuu
Great atmospheric psych folk. Would recommend it to anyone.
Best folk punk album ever
Not that obscure, though.
What's your favorite track on it? Mine's GB Eating GB.
not sure how obscure they are but i've seen them at a couple of local shows and they're real good. they sound different now compared to this album which i think is good.
