Honestly, I find most most "BROOTAL" grindcore to be kind of thin, lacking in low end and not especially heavy.

But first, how a digital song works:
Each sample of a cd (1/44100 of a second) has a value that can be any real number from -32768 to +32767.
That happens to each side, left and right, because a cd cant be mono.
How far the number is from zero means the volume (actually how much the speaker/headphone will reduce the volume from the one you set) with 0 being silence.
And the amount of times you go or move past the 0 line means the frequency.
The hardest song would have only the values -32768 and +32767
