not only is it unprofessional. it's also very unclever...

What did he mean by this?

Do you happen to be Hispanic? I've noticed that Hispanic people all seem to have like a combination of 50 first and last names that they end up having. Looking them up on facebook is a nightmare.

Buy a domain and make your own email

no
i like that

should of signed up back in 2004.

Dots are ignored in Gmail. Try emailing [email protected] and you'll get it. The headers still show dots. So you can use these for filtering

no, i need this email address now so whoever already registered it back in '04 should give it up. they probably dont even use it anymore.

This, you can also use [email protected] to do the same filtering

everyone does this

Do you think that's bad?

Make up a word

[email protected]

[email protected] (airmail.cc if for professional use)

I would try using a real e-mail service.

(mail.protonmail.com/create/new)

If you're looking for professional you shouldn't be using a gmail email in the first place.
Set up your own domain.

I would take a photo of muh dick, get its SHAKE-256 hash set to 120 digits i.e. 30 characters, the biggest name size allowed by Gmail and use that string, because then I'd be sending a picture of muh dick to everyone I email.

It's too bad RFC 1480 never really took off. It would make things so much simpler. For example:

[email protected]

No need to worry about purchasing a .com from squatters until you grow your small business.

subscribed to bad-dragon

My name's not all that common, so I get first pick from any email service.

Vincent probably doesn't

when's his cockbox gonna have new openings dammit

Why the hell do you need a cockbox when you can get a Russian seedbox or chink VPS

[email protected]

Just coz.
(cock)
Got any decent (enough) russ or chink names to share?

[email protected]

just use cock.li bro

Never had any problems with gmx.com

Every combination of yourname.com is probably registered too.

tfw no leet .jp domain with hiragana to use as email

Mine is [email protected]
I probably couldv'e gotten [email protected] since I signed up very early, but it didn't feel right.

If my name is george davis does it look provessional having an email like
[email protected]

Name+date of [email protected]

Attached: 1520688776803.jpg (480x471, 23K)

>get your own domain firstnamelastname.com or something
>catch every email sent to that domain regardless what stands before @
>forward to [email protected] or whatever your email is
>always register on websites with [email protected]
>now you can see who is selling your data and can easily filter

My combination of first and last name is unique in the entire world, which is good for me and also the nsa.

Buy your own domain. As a bonus Google won't scan your data.

>not [email protected] master face

Have you considered a @outlook or @hellokitty email adress user?

>Chink VPS
>Implying you would want to rent a VPS behind their firewall

I have FirstLast.com and [email protected] and I was going to do this. I got discouraged reading too many stories about how other people who tried to do this where never able to get to send email from their own server without going to spam, no matter even if they did everything right having everything like SPF and DKIM setup.

>pound the keyboard in a fit of anger
>this username is taken
>type in stupid name like buttplugbuttblaster98
>congrats this is now your name which you cant change. Have fun putting this on your resume

>I have FirstLast.com and [email protected] and I was going to do this. "Free market" amirite
>I tried to make my own ISP but no one would peer with me and AT&T said it would cost 50 trillion USD a year for a contract

Actually heard a similar story about how a guy called up the local telco and asked how much it would be to run fiber a mile from their CO and they quoted him a ridiculous price like mid 6 figures.
And of course you can't get a v4 block anymore. And is it still hard to get a ASN?

i usually base my user names on songs i hear at that moment

You could add your profession as part of the address

This is because hispanics use both of the parents' last name and usually have a middle name.
t. Mexican

Who the fuck would hire somebody that's called john doe anyway. Nobody actually has a meme name like that.

>what else would you try Sup Forums?
ditching google

OP it's a double edged sword
>jump on the gmail hype train in 2004

>been invited to three weddings, "joined" a junior hockey team (and congratulated them on their win), bought a house, got some fat nigress's nudes, bought more cars than i can count and stayed in hotels across the globe

I have a meme email address so I wrote to linkedin and complained when every bot and their mum registered with my email address and started spamming me with connection requests

Fuck, I didn't knew this.
Explains why I get so much spam given that my email adress is just my [email protected]

Buy your own domain.

Then you can use whatever user name you want.

I share my last name with both a construction company, and a textiles company. They've eaten up any proper domains. [email protected] isn't very professional.

>durr [email protected] is super professional but adding a 1 is a retarded idea

Running your own email server is always a pain.
For starters when your server breaks you can't mail tech support.
It's also a pain to integrate with calendars and android services.

But for a small fee you can use your own domain name with gmail or any other big email providers I'm sure.

>change name
>try to sign up at jewmail
>new name is taken
>go to outlook.com
>success
>end up liking it more than jewgle
>on top of that outlook sounds more professional than gmail

As well as firstlast.com

t. indian

>sorry RaakeshPatel@gmail is taken
What do

First name twice.
Unless your name happens to be Boutros Boutros-Ghali

[email protected] is what you'd want
[email protected] is kinda meh but still better at least.

get a better name

t. south indian

[email protected] is stupid because its not for info its for contacting me and last.com was taken

JD
DJ

Don.Joe.vi

Just use your ham radio call sign. It's short and random enough to be available.

Being korean and using gmail would be even more painful. I think they have like handful of names.

>its for contacting me

then use contact@

anything.mail

I will do as i damn please

i have multiple but use them only to receive spam. i also have a domain with mail for anything else.

this

>change name
translation: I'm a degenerate on hrt who wears programming socks

Reputable email providers never recycle email addresses because doing so is a security issue. Yahoo used to (still does?) recycle email addresses. For example, people would hack Runescape forums and harvest email address lists, then attempt to register all the Yahoo addresses. Older addresses were frequently available to be re-registered, and they would then issue a password reset for the Runescape account associated with that email, gaining control over it.

gmail is literally gay mail

Nothing wrong with a happy mail.
