Found out my roommate was throttling my internet on the router. I went overseas for 5 weeks and kept trying to remote in to my computer, eventually found out it had been throttled. He changed the password on the router but I got in using the admin password (serial number) from the box. The router is kept in his locked bedroom. I now have proof it's been throttled - pic related.

For what its worth, there's no valid reason to throttle me. I don't torrent anything and my PC was just sitting idle all day while I was away.

Download a bunch of CP, toss your HDD, and report him for it. Since you're all on the same router the same IP will be publicly visible and they won't be able to tell which PC the request came from.

That 1000Mbps (I assume you mean Mb and not MB but network illiterate retards like you never seem to care about the difference) doesn't matter when the bottleneck is the wireless connection to each device.
Also you were beta enough to let this guy put the router in his room. When I've lived with people anything shared like that was always public and the times there was a modem or router purchase involved (instead of leasing from ISP) it would be split by the roommates. Whoever the fuck was last at the house could have it - the cost is really insignificant when it's a one time purchase like that which also makes it so no one thinks its theirs and does shit like this.
Overall you've landed yourself in a fucked situation that you'll need to learn from the in the future. You need to bring this up with everyone, try to keep your cool, and see if there was a specific reason this happened. If your roommate is being an asshole your other roommates are going to spot this. Then again if you're already known as the asshole prior to this good fucking luck. Find some new roommates when you get back and don't be such an asshole in the future. People react like kids when people act like kids around them. Break that cycle.
