How on earth do you decide which albums to put in charts? I have this chart and I don't know why or how.

10/10 the albums I've heard from there everyone has

0/1 I hate Mr. Bungle I don't know why

3/3 at what point did Miharu Koshi become part of Sup Forums canon? She seems extremely obscure.

2/2 I have only heard one or two ambient electronic albums and have yet to be convinced on the genre

see

hey bub
i just started this thing recently so it doesn't have much of anything but yea rateyourmusic.com/~Livyatan1996

>Did you see my answer last thread?
i did. good answer
the album was nice

Topsters is down and it's driving me insane.

I heard Deathspell Omega sometime ago, decided I didn't like it, but I'll give it another try. I think I enjoy the idea more than the execution. A lot of metal end up like that for me. Already know and like Colour Green, but I'm unfamiliar with Electric Masada. I enjoy the Masada albums, so this should be good. Thank you.

>might file this away for something to drone
Cool. It's dangerous to go alone, take this:

Nice, glad you liked it. Maybe check out Trondheim Jazz Orchestra & Kim Myhr's Stems & Cages for further listening as it utilizes a somewhat similar approach to sound and texture but it's done with a big ensemble, even features vocals.

how you feeling this monday afternoon

what's your favorite movie

i don't know

lately i've been pretty infatuated with punch drunk love and a woman under the influence

which one are you user?

I don't think the notion that all music has some underlying "thing" one needs to understand to enjoy a piece is a good way of approaching music in the first place but:
Listening to music is an incredibly personal experience and the experiences one has are going to vary greatly from album to album. Sometimes you get something that you enjoy more and more each time you hear it and it might feel and mean different things for you as you hear it more. Sometimes you can assess all an album has to offer you in one listen.
There isn't a right way to listen to music. Just do whatever you enjoy the most.

thank you friend
