I barely remember what it was, all I remember it was windows 98 and I played a shit ton of games on it.

First computer I owned was a computer my uncle helped me build when I was like 7 in 2001. I remember playing some really really old school first person shooter games and like army men and shit like that. Also going on AOL and Napster trying to download anime lol.

Compaq something, my dad stole it from a Walmart for me when I was ~9. I played WoW, scammed Runescape/WoW accounts, pretended to be a 1337 hax0r boi,

and Typed Like This In A Lot Of Different Places And Really Pissed People Off.

>playstation 3
>installed linux on it

>the black macbook i got as a hand-me-down from my brother

I was really excited one I got my first PC, booted up some hot wheels then eventually discovered porn, those were the days

Atari 65XE. Had to walk out from the room while loading anything from tape to make sure my heartbeat won't mess up the process.

Yes it sucks now but this thing was so cool when I was 12, got to beta test windows 7 the year after and learned so much on it.

I really shouldn't have sold it to gazelle when they still took computers.

Asus netbook. I hated how I was wasting my life being drunken neet who always jerks off. I was pretty hammered when I pisses all over it. Assus support returned the device without servicing it due to " traces of liquid ". Tee hee. Goodnight Sup Forums.

First computer == DSi
First real computer == a shitty Acer Aspire One netbook handmedown

My first computer that was my own was a 300mhz celeron that I overclocked to 400 and felt like a bad ass. Played lots of quake 2, diablo 2, and dark age of camelot. Once I had my own PC and didn't need to share the family one everything started working better.....

>shitty Windows 98 computer
>use arcade machine emulator and look up guides for Zelda

My dad worked for a Japanese company and one of the big guys from Japan lived with us for a few months in the mid 90's. When he went back to Japan he gave me his laptop and said he was going to buy a more powerful one when he got back to Japan. It was a NEC PC-9801, and he told me to learn to use it because "if you work on the machines the computers will replace you. If you work on the computers, you will replace the machines" He wanted me to learn programming.

I did absolutely fuck all with it because it was in Japanese and I couldn't fucking read anything

Attached: gamen2.jpg (640x480, 69K)

quite a sexy machine user, I envy you.

>he told me to learn to use it because "if you work on the machines the computers will replace you. If you work on the computers, you will replace the machines"
sounds like the beginning of a cyberpunk movie

He could probably fund one. He was rich as hell. He came back to visit a few years ago and wanted to go to a basketball game and to the gun range to shoot guns, he paid for everyone, and dinner. He probably spent $10 grand in one day. He bought $1500 in merchandise at the basketball game for his family alone. And rented pretty much every gun the range had, and paid for all our ammo. I'm poor, rich people blow my mind

300Mhz Pentium II custom build

Downloaded emulators and roms at the library, brought them home and played them

Played some gaymes during school.

This, with 4 megabytes of ram and a 200 megabytes hard drive.

Mainly wrote on it for school (middle school and early high school) and did one or two attempt at programming.
Was already quite old when I got it, came from my father's job decommissioned IT stock.

an old Core2Duo E6850, 8gb DDR2-667, Quadro FX 4800 workstation that I bought in late 2013/early 2014 to play Battlefield 3 on

Generic late-90s Gateway desktop.

I played Age of Empires II all the time.

i dont know what it was, but i got one in like 96 and used to play a lot of command and conquer on it

>Learned how to fuck around in DOS and played Pajama Sam

Played games I got from cereal boxes.

Attached: compaq_presario_5008.jpg (491x485, 68K)

I had this computer and played games from cereal boxes as well. Oregon trail 3 and Lego creator are the ones I remember most.

A Tiny™ brand computer running Windows ME. I mostly downloaded music on Kazaa and DBZ/Sailor Moon porn on dial up when I wasn't playing Diablo 2. 2001-ish to 2007 was a great few years.

>pentium with win xp
>spore, wc3 and unreal tournament

A custom built Intel tower and I did bash and visual basic programming on it.

Sega SC-3000
Played games, wrote rudimentary programs in BASIC

c64
Did homework on it.
listened to audio books.

I was a console baby then and wasn't interested in pcs all that much.
different story now though lol

All of these young kids everywhere...
My first was an IBM PS2 Model 20 286 cpu, a monstorous 1024mb of ram and the optional 1.44mb floppy drive. There was an Epson impact printer attached that touted its ability to print on normal paper apparently... It hooked up to some Lego thing that allowed me to program motors and make stuff with it. Oh and it had Wolfenstien 3D on it.

>All of these young kids everywhere...
Like you?

>Some i5 thing
>play runescape all day every day

386 computer. I used it to jerk off to a strip poker game and then got caught by my mom. I wish I still had access to that program for a nostalgia wank.

>DEPO-EGO

Pic related. Sperry 3070 XT clone
>what you did with it
Wrote uni papers, played Ultima, Thexder, Gauntlet, Alley Cat and countless text adventures, trolled Apple and TI BBSs and wrote shitty turbo pascal programs to control my lights and stereo. I had a TI-99/4 before that, but dat fucking terrible chicklet keyboard tho..

Eat a dick you patronising fuck.

Commodore Vic 20

Second-hand Intel Celeron computer.
Playing Chip's Challenge and other Windows Entertainment Pack games.

I pee'd on the keyboard and threw the whole thing out the window.

some garbage assembled from scrap on celeron 366
Played icy tower and other crappy flash games, assembled and disassembled multiple times. I think it also could handle red alert 2 to some degree.

I also got an Aspire One as my first own computer, before that we had a family laptop and even before that I used to go to my uncle's furniture store to use the pc there.

Commodore 64.

It was created so that average white people could glory.

When a nigger (me) is at the computer, it's not a glorious situation. I just used it to play pirated games stored on cassettes, which failed to load most of the time due to my incompetence.

Then one day, in a sudden fit of autism, I disassembled it, so I could see how it looks on the inside. I could never figure out how to put it back together.

Attached: glory.png (396x263, 199K)

486 dx was family computer and then 'my' computer.

best time was stealing linux floppys (early slackware iirc) from back of 'linux for noobs' books to run on it.

Burn them to CD? I can imagine USB drives being insanely expensive at the time.

doom

Some custom build with a huge fucking chassis, 512MB RAM, AMD Athlon 2200+ (1.8GHz single core), ATI Radeon 9200 SE 128MB AGP card. Mainly porn, file sharing and trolling chat rooms in the days before YouTube and the general decline of the internet. Completely missed out on the gaming potential, as it was once a half decent card and could have played Doom 3 among other system intensive games of the era (c. 2004).

Also made a simple Pokédex on it at some point.

Is that yours or is that from one of The Nostalgia Malls videos?

This.

Circa 1988.

old IBM T43. Shit tier pentium proessor (compared to these days obvs, back in the day it was still mediocre), had 512MB of RAM and I used it to make shitty Paint images and played runescape

youtube.com/watch?v=V9AbeALNVkk

Custom build circa 2002 when I was 10
Mostly drew and played Neopets, and played Runescape.
My dad also added a Pinnacle TV tuner in it for some reason, so I watched TV there as well.

Not mine unfortunately, we threw ours out years ago. Mine was the same though. It came as a package deal: tower, monitor, KBM, printer, scanner, speakers (on monitor), boom mic, and fax. It shipped with Win95 and I think had Encarta too.

Same, except mine was a newer version with a 1.2Ghz CPU and XP preinstalled. I eventually upgraded it by doubling the memory, installing a GPU, and giving it a WNIC.
I still have the old thing, but have almost no use for it. I turn it on every once in a while to see if it still works, since I don't have the heart to just get rid of it. I know I should, but I'm just hoping it dies naturally.

This compaq that I d3str0yed with ebic born
