EATIN SPAM AND OREOS, DRINKING THUNDERBIRD BABY
OOOO-OOOOOOOOOH!
Bentley Cook
I listened to it the day it came out but I haven't had enough time to just sit back and listen to it intently the teaser tracks got me hype as hell, and they made sense as "singles." they were easier to listen to than some of the other stuff on the album(s).
I think my rough order of preference would go something like
3 > 4 = 1 = 5 > 2
still need to digest it a bit more. but I will say that chimer 1-5-1 is their worst track in years.
Dominic Gonzalez
I was just thinking about how fucking lame it is for an artist's second album to be named "2" or their third "3" etc. Like, the only thing to distinguish and signify this artwork is that it came after a previous one? Fuck, lame shit.
Ryan Garcia
portishead 4 when though
Oliver Walker
somebody gave a high rating to Alan Lee Jazz Quartet last thread which makes me happy :-)
also I finally found a vinyl copy of In a Roman Mood by Human Sexual Response today which made me very happy :-)))
I played a ton of super mario strikers with friends which was fun :-)))))
then I as I passed by my exes house I noticed her new bf's/my ex-friends car was there and it made me all sad and insecure even though it's been over a year and I've a had another gf since then. :-((((
why must something so small and petty ruin everything?
Leo Flores
You recced me Lift Boys - Jukey Lift and I can't find it anywhere. Can you upload or give me a different rec?

>Tortoise - Millions Now Living Will Never Die This was a nice album that didn't really blow me away, but was good throughout. I like how the first song didn't really use guitar and had a changing instrumentation as the song progressed. I'm not sure which mallet percussion instrument was used, but the xylophone or whatever it was added a super nice texture to the songs it was used in. blue triangle/10 Favorite Track: Djed
Thank for showing me this ∆. Though this is what you get for watching porn instead of anime baka

>Yamir >Gastr Del Sol - Camofleur I can see why a fan of Jim O’Rourke and post-rock might enjoy this, but personally I find this style of post rock to be somewhat bland. Also there’s a bit of electronic music thrown in the album that seems kind of out of place. There’s one track that like that could pass for one of the quieter relaxed parts of Smile or Pet Sounds. In general this album is pleasant background music for fans of post rock and good acoustic guitar. I may relisten a bit.
>good friend rodriguez >Steven R. Smith I wonder if R. Stevie Moore has an album called “Kohls” about the department store. Oh anyway, yeah I didn’t really get much out of this album. Pleasant psychedelic-ish ambient stuff. Background music.
I guess Yamir advances.
Bentley Carter

good morning, friend good day so far, just went for a run, listened to Beat Happening (again). Beat Happening really is perfect for running when the weather is nice. I' working the record store later, think i'm gonna get a haircut before that. Might go to a show tonight, if not i'll just get drunk.
There's a Moondog 100 years tribute concert tomorrow i'm considering going to. With the guy from Frisk Frugt.
Evan Walker
Oh shit I saw that.
I'm just finishing up that Moondog book rn. Pretty good shit.
Ryder Murphy
Sippin' on some coffee right now, got an exam at 10, will later get pizza with some housemates and see Haken tonight with my dad. Maybe go for a run sometime. Life's ok.
Caleb Ross
Did you hear about the event in Copenhagen? Or just his 100 years birthday?
Nathaniel Wood
Nah just the 100th birthday.
Carson Barnes
No, the threads have been moving too fast for me lately. Could you link me to the review? Also what is anime openings?
Easton Gonzalez
How's music today?
This is what you get for watching disgusting porn, you filthy fuck
Carson Bennett
I don't think anyone here cares about music anymore >inb4 "anymore?"
Lincoln Evans
For a moment, I almost thought about taking a break from fusion jazz. But I must stay focused. Like that album, actually; Which is both fortunate and unfortunate. Fortunate because the cuts here with all four guys playing an almost percussive style (yes, even with the synths) works well and is a lot of fun for the listener. Unfortunate because the vocal cuts are not exactly to my taste. 20 down, 43 to go.
Music's pretty good so far. Although I am getting closer and closer to a dark, terrible turn in Casiopea's history.
Brody Wilson
Still shit.
Ryan Martinez
