Lel, idgaf about hardware. I can run anything I want with 8gb ram and an i5 on my laptop. If i'm doing anything heavy I use a server like any sane human being. The reason you pay extra for macs is because MacOS is superior to every other OS available. Its so worth the money, literally impossible to use anything else after a few months of MacOS.
