i want

>1060ti
Ok jefferson

>has any kind of issue whatsoever (it will)
>throw it in the trash because there is no warranty

I'd rather get a brand that I can easily claim warranty with. It's not worth saving the $400 initially for it to shit the bed then have to buy another system

>laptop

>gaymen laptop
I want my laptop to be a laptop not an airplane
I also want more than 15 minutes of battery

Jefferson?

I've been waiting 5 years for something like this. Will it be dead on arrival?

Dammit I wanted a xiaomi laptop with the 2700u

>>less than 1500$
That's still $1000 more than what I would pay for it

I'm glad we have a Mi Home here, going to check it out when it comes out. Deciding between this or the Mi Notebook Pro.

CLASSIC XIAOMI COPYING APPLE

No you didn't. Not with the 4k screen and the 512GB Nvme. The one you saw was 1080p with 256 and it might even have been saddled with the GTX 1050 for extra sadness. Trust me, I live about 15 miles from the Microcenter in Marietta. I checked Fry's too and same thing. This is the best deal on the planet for this machine.
But user, I got it specifically for the 4k and no scaling. I vnc into several computers at once. Besides, I'm young and can see quite well.

If it was 17"+ I'd buy it. I need a bigger screen.

Got it a couple of months ago. Thought about mining some ETH to recoup some of the cost but eff that. I just trade for more coins.

>laptop
>4k screen
wonderful meme, faglord

I really like the build but that hinge looks iffy

Imagine this scenario. You need to vnc into 4 machines at the same time, each running 1080p screens. You also need to be able to read the writing on the screens of those 4 machines and that writing is relatively small. You need a laptop that can do this and also sustain high CPU consuming processes in the background without throttling. Do you get a Mac? Nope. Do you get something that weighs 2 pounds and has an 8250u that will thermal trottle? Nope. That's right. A gaming laptop is set up to handle high demand games and also is one of the only things available with a 4k screen. Problem solved.

>Buying chinese shit
They make products to fail and then don't honor warranty. I've learned to pay slightly more for non chinese company products. It pays off in the long run.
