Did Windows 10 update at some point and bug fucking network share? How do I unfuck it?

I've tried:
- Enabling insecure guest auth via regedit AND gpedit.msc
- Enabled SMB 1.0
- Going back and forth between DHCP and Static IP? I don't know, fucking retards online suggest that works somehow. Nope.
- Quadruple checking to make sure pass protected sharing is off, folders are set up to allow EVERYONE AND GUESTS.

Despite this, only my old Playstation 2 iso share folder is working?? I fucking hate this OS.

have you installed gentoo?

Install Gen-
just kidding. Tried to install Win 10 in a VM and test it out if it works there? I mean...it's Windows, after all.

gentoo doesn't have this problem

gentoo users can read the sticky fine too

Open terminal, use ssh. Simple.

Aweful speeds. For real, it's terrible.

>Windows 10
Found your problen

Install Gentoo

Install Plan9

what is your network profile set to also try disabling your firewall and seeing if it works?

rename shares to not have spaces
delete mapping and readd
reboot
undo all that dumb shit you did
reboot again

where do network shares live?

also install gentoo

folders with spaces need to be encased by " " .

that could work but break shit depending on how they coded the smb client.

no spaces = no worries

Consider setting up a home server to deliver files properly. You know, in linux.,

Sftp gets like 8mb/s over my home network

depends on network fabric.

shitty switch/router = shitty speeds
