Hey Sup Forums, lets try to fill this chart out. I really enjoy futuristic sounding hip hop, so I'm sure other people will be appreciative of this type of chart.
What albums would you suggest? Any changes you'd make to the ones already on here?
Let's try to limit it to one per artist so we get as much variety as we can.
>footwork >hip hop it come from house-->ghetto house--->juke--->footwork retard its dance music not a hip hop based music
Thomas White
so keep dj rashad or no?
will add, one sec
Jaxson Martin
keep rashad it's trappy enough and a lot of songs have rapping on it
Ryder Lee
summer already?
Josiah Jackson
>so keep dj rashad or no? NO!
Thomas Kelly
hate to say it but this chart needs more death grips.
Eli Perry
or at the very least a different album than niggas on the moon.
Dominic Smith
I want to keep it limited to one per artist as to keep the diversity up. Had I allowed multiple from the same artist, I would have put more death grips
take rashad off immediately. Also Flylo's LA is far better suited for this chart than cosmogramma or you're dead
Oliver Gutierrez
Ratking - 700 Fil Shabazz Palaces - Black Up Quasimoto - The Unseen (it's more like futuristic psychedelic hip-hop) Blank Banshee - Blank Banshee 1
Liam Ward
you really dont get rashad or footwork if you are interpretting this as hip hop
Easton Brooks
I added it, but it's not showing up. I'll add it properly once the entire thing is filled out
Josiah Richardson
>Blank Banshee - Blank Banshee 1 that sounds like 2013: the music. sounds ancient in internet years
Jonathan Clark
>there's a black man rapping so it must be hip hop!
It's a dance album through and through. They recorded like 2 bars and used it like any other footwork sample.
James Torres
dude. R.A.P. Music, Boy in da Corner, The Unseen, and So It Goes aren't futuristic at all fuck this is the worst thing I've ever seen
Joshua Green
Food For Animals - Belly Kids
Jack Scott
these are suggestions others have made. what would you recommend to replace them, I trust you will give the best recommendations
Matthew Long
BadBadNotGood - III
Logan Brooks
I mean that with all sincerity, what would you suggest
Blake Wood
>Boy in da Corner Grime isn't Hip-Hop
Robert Gray
HAHAHA
Isaac Morris
christ can we go one thread without this shit i swear on me nan's grave
Jason Johnson
>Grime is a genre of music that emerged in England in the early 2000s. It is primarily a development of UK garage and jungle.[
Oliver Bell
As of right now, this is what we've got. I just want to fill it out, then afterwards, argue about which things to change until we all come to a consensus
Isaiah Williams
Replace Killer Mike - RAP Music with Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels 2.
Christian Adams
good ones
Jonathan Long
then how come it sound like hip hop? you genre fags are repulsive.
Grayson Anderson
cosmogramma leans more towards jazz, put LA instead
the whole point of this thread is outlining a niche genre
Henry Rivera
alright mate
Parker Evans
ya boi
Landon Russell
...
Christian Scott
Travi$ Scott - Owl Pharaoh
Wyatt Hernandez
well you're wrong because it's got fuck all to do with hip-hop
Isaiah Gray
I think MAYA fits the futuristic category a lot more
Landon Russell
whats the criteria
Bentley Gonzalez
Maybe The Cold Vein? Or maybe Fantastic Damage/I'll Sleep When You're Dead by EL-P. Tip-Hop by Tipper might also be considered "futuristic" but idk
Isaiah Jackson
This is what we've got so far, now we argue amongst ourselves to determine what is the most optimal chart. Also, I'll be back in a bit, going to get some food for a barbecue later today with my dad.
The constructus corporational - ziggurat A.S.M - the jade amulet Czarface - every villian needs a super villian Am I do this rite?
Jose Baker
How the fuck do Quas and Danny Brown sound futuristic?
James Lopez
what should those albums replace on the most current chart?
Luke Ortiz
rmove r.a.p. music
remove tnght (their sound was already taken and made into coachella headliner material by people like baauer)
remove bbng and ratatat, i have no clue what the logic is that they are there, ratatat sounds dated as fuck
replace Kala with /\/\ /\ Y /\
Nathaniel Cruz
terrible list so far
Aiden Watson
what else
what would you recommend then? I trust you have really great recommendations
Isaiah Martin
holy shit this thread is summer
Jackson Scott
erase all albums make a moderately pleb chart not that turbo
Luke Reyes
and replace them with what?
Isaac Allen
nah
Easton Lopez
remove tnght, bbng, ratatat, dizzee and quasi, bring up ratking and food for animal
just remove that whole row, it was ambitious to fill out that size of a chart but there really isnt that much material youre workign with here without really really stretching it
bother than that i would replace black up with lese majesty, mostly because personally i feel its a lot more futuristic sounding than black up
Julian Thomas
"summer" is now perpetual now dingus, fucking teenagers browse Sup Forums on their smartphones in class
there isnt anything keeping them away from the internet anymore
Christopher Gray
it doesn't let me remove them once you'd added them. You just have to replace them with something else (unless I'm doing it wrong).
Matthew Flores
you cant make another chart in 4x5?
Jackson Rodriguez
what else should be changed/removed?
Sebastian Morales
I can, if you want.
Hunter Perez
i would think it works better since youre just trying to fill in space you dont really have ideas for
Matthew Gomez
Replace XXX with The Money Store, replace Niggas on the Moon with the Powers that B, replace TNGNT with Things That Happen at Day//Things That Happen At Night.
Lincoln Hall
Get rid of XXX
Matthew Harris
is there anything else you'd like to add
I'm trying to keep it one per artist
Jace Nguyen
...
Gabriel Carter
Matangi got this dreamy, spacey like feel especially with exodus, but i think Maya would be fitting more like Said Kala is pretty much the opposite i think
Colton Thomas
is that their most futuristic release? what about Arrhythmia
